[Apparently, some poor soul Luki annoyed the living daylights out of decided that a silk screening kit would be a good way to distract her. And distract her it did. All of Luki's favorite targets to pester have gotten several hours of blissful quiet while Luki worked dilligently and waited for the fabric paint on her newly designed t-shirt to dry.

Now that it has dried, she's proudly wearing it, a little black skirt, her striped stockings, and her black and pink shoes.

Hide and go seek IS pretty awesome. [Thinks about it.] But these shirts have ninjas kicking T-Rexuars in the face! That tops just about anything, honestly. If you think about it.

Noki and I kicked a T-rexaur in the face in the Training Center. It was way better than playing with the grats.

I didn't sew the shirts, though. I just made the part with the T-rexaur and the ninja.

We had to kick it a bunch of times and I had my big knife and Noki had her gun, but yeah! That's why we're the Invincible Luki Noki twins!

...it bit me and wrecked the sweater I was wearing but then I got better and Ms.Red helped me fix the shirt so it's fine.

[Katara's eyes widen in disbelief at imagery of this little girl wielding a big knife. And a gun? She's only seen and heard of those since her arrival, but there's no way she can picture someone like Luki with one. How old was this girl, anyways?]

I'm sure that it must have been really terrifying! You're brave to face a T-Rexuar alone with your twin.

[Did he say it before?] THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! Did you keep one of its fangs as a trophy?? I heard people do that! MAN!

[Then... there's a pause.] Who's Ms. Red? [He asks partly because he can't help but picture GRELL sewing clothes and partly because if there's another person who can sew here than he wouldn't have to rely on Katara. Unless it IS Grell. Because Sokka wouldn't ask her for anything if he was dying.]

That's why Mama loves Luki and Noki best. I'm not afraid of anything!

Ms.Red is...Ms.Red. You know, because of her hair? I think she calls herself Grell, but I just call her Ms.Red.

Ms. Red's really nice, though! She fixed my sweater when there was a big hole in it 'cause of a T-Rexaur biting me.

Luki and Noki used to fight monsters all the time to make Mama proud. If it's dangerous, that just makes it more fun to fight.

[Her brows lift.] You certainly sound very... adventurous.

[But Sokka's comment causes her to give him a strange look, her head turning to face him.] Who is Grell? And why is she crazy?

Well it's nice that she fixed your sweater and all. [Out of the corner of his mouth he says to Katara] I'll tell you later.

So how can I get one of those shirts, huh? Maybe in blue?

I love adventures!

[She considers Sokka's request for a moment]

Well, I have the silk screen stencils and stuff...so if you bring me a shirt, I can decorate it for you.

[Despite her curiosity, Katara gives a small shrug-- she'll hold Sokka to his word for an explanation later. So she redirects her attention to Luki, smiling at the small girl.]

Well, you should be careful when it comes to your adventures! You don't want to get hurt.

I'm tough! And I heal really fast too. So it's okay!

[Katara giggles as Luki stumbles over the word. But suddenly, she realizes she hasn't properly introduced herself-- where are her manners?]

I'm Katara, by the way! It's nice to meet you.
