[Ken's little tired from his nightmare from last night. Logically, spending a night in a strange room in a strange place would do that to him...probably. However, that's not what he's really bothered by it much, he's just dragging his feet a little more on his way to class.]

There was this Sorceress that... wanted to "compress time" to win this war. She failed, but apparently we're experiencing the side effects? It sounds weird, I know, but that's what they told us.

That's really far-fetched, but it has to be true since we're all here. If the Time Compression has something to do with it, then would there be anything they could do?

Huh? Uh... [ Didn't expect that. She hasn't had many questions about her hometown. ]

It's... quaint. Calm and pretty. I don't live in the city, y'see. It's a place called Inaba. There was a bit of a shakedown in the town, but... [ And at this, her lips stretch into a proud smile, her brown eyes glinting a bit brighter. ]

It's safe now. Heck, I think it might be better than ever!

[Ken thinks back to where he's heard that. Oh...right. Temporarily ignoring the fact that she's from the same "world" as him.]

I remember my mom telling me about the hot springs there once. They're suppose to be really nice, right?

Urgh, her already tired head begins to throb at the thought. Just something. Chie feels that there's something about this meeting... She'll just file it away for now. ]

Yeah. I'd never would have thought I'd meet someone from Inaba here.

[Ken just kind of stares at Chie for a while. Was it really just one big coincidence that she ended up being from the same place as him? Do those things even happen? Probably not, but it's pointless dwelling on it now.]

What did you do when you went to Iwatodai? It seems like a weird place for a school trip.
