(two) || yuna
[The Training Center hadn't held much appeal for Yuna at first. To her, it had also seemed a little frightening, especially since she was used to travelling with a large group of people whenever fiends were around. But today she had decided to test out what the Garden had called "GFs". By the description, she assumed they were similar to aeons in some aspects, but that they were able to be summoned by any who "junctioned" them. They also enabled anyone to use what was called "paramagic", although she could still use her own magic with ease. She wasn't sure she understood exactly what all that entailed, but nonetheless! Here she was.
Luckily, she hadn't run into any T-Rexaurs around the place yet. It granted her enough of a break in battle-- against some of those strange plant-like monsters-- to summon Valefor. Yuna feared that she just wouldn't be able to summon the aeon at all, even though she had "junctioned" it and come to know it as a GF. But sure enough, the flying beast soon appeared in the Center, swooping the enemies with ease. She hadn't even needed to perform her usual movements with her sceptre-- even though she still had, out of a sense of obligation.
It didn't feel like it usually did. Yuna realised that pretty quickly. But it was better than nothing. It was her only tenuous connection to Spira, above everything else, and that meant it was something to be treasured. Even as Valefor disappeared immediately after executing the attack, she felt somewhat relieved.]
At least it's something! [Her voice is a lot more obviously cheerful than it has been in the past few weeks.] Right. Now, let's go...

Perhaps the plants were hiding from him now that most of their brethren were extra well done, so he went in search for more. That's when he came across that thing. It was massive, and he was pretty sure the fire magic he had would do little good.
He noticed the girl standing below the creature, wondering if she was responsible for it. The grip on his chainsaw only tightened.
Just in case.]

However, due to her own naivety, she thought that was merely because he was in the Training Center, and that it had nothing to do with her GF. Of course. She smiled at him politely.]
Hello, sir. I'm sorry-- did I interrupt your training?

[He looks up at the large creature, pointing at it with his chainsaw.] What is that behemoth?

her stats upherself in top physical condition. When she witnesses Yuna's beautiful summon, she lets out a tiny gasp; that young woman did it differently than the instructors had shown.]That was amazing!
no subject
Oh... thank you! I didn't realise anyone was watching...
no subject
I've never really seen anyone summon like you had. It was... beautiful. [Like an art form, and Alice had a love for beautiful art]

Instinct gives her two choices, fight or flight. Technically she wouldn't even be able to fight the thing-- who could? And so running away is the better of the two. She'd rather get away from this and live to see another--
And then it's gone. Missing, like it hasn't been there just a few seconds ago. And she scowls because it's strange and different, and possibly even a trick. Perhaps it hasn't been there at all.
Yuna is here as well. She can hear her voice, just nearby, and Naoto moves closer, trudging through the brush to find her roommate. If she hadn't been hallucinating, then Yuna would definitely have seen the thing, whatever it is, too. If it was all in her head... then she'd be in need of an early night.]
Yuna?
no subject
Naoto? [And so she, too, moves through some of the bushes to reach her roommate. She notices that Naoto doesn't sound too happy.] Are you all right?
no subject
I should be asking you that.
[And to her, she's in the right, because Yuna's obviously been here longer, and there's no way she couldn't have seen the thing. And maybe she's just lucky to have gotten away when she did.]

Those fiends that resembled plants weren't too hard to take out. Perhaps I overdid it a little, but... I was just practicing. [Maybe she meant that she shouldn't have used a GF on such easy monsters? Yuna frowns. That was probably a good point.]

One and one make two, and she remembers those subjects dedicated to controlling things that could certainly be like that. "Para-magic" and "GFs" and the like.]
You used a GF?
[She's more surprised that Yuna, her usually polite, kind-hearted roommate has something potentially dangerous. Beware the nice ones indeed.]
no subject
Um... yes! It was. I was able to summon that creature, Valefor, back in my world. But here, it's become a unique kind of GF. [Valefor's not... that dangerous, honest! Not unless Yuna sets it on you, that is. Er.]
no subject
[She files away a mental note not to get Yuna angry.]
It followed you.
[Because there's nothing else to say, and to be honest, she wasn't expecting things like that to come around with their... "owners" to other places. And other worlds to actually have them in the first place.]

no subject
[Because she certainly hasn't and she's almost, vaguely curious about these things, especially when she's not taking up those subjects this quarter.]
no subject
[That doesn't sound very reassuring, but she has seen some pictures. Yuna was very surprised to find some names she recognised from her own world among them.]

[Yuna actually knows next to nothing about how to find GFs around the world, though, so she can't really offer anymore information in that respect. There's only two on the Garden network that she knows of.]
