Well, that was a fun experience! It was certainly not as lively as back home, but cute none the less.

Do any of you have traditions similar to this where you are from?

No, we really don't. It's all so new to me.

I had expected that, but it is still sad to see none the less. I think it quite cute that there is a day for people who love each other to show it publicly.

It is! I just wish I knew more people I could share it with on a personal level.

I am glad you like it!

[Lihau gives a rough list of ingredients -- a bit of fruit and some plants here and there that she had with her or managed to find.]

What goes in it is quite important, but so is how it is made. I would be more than happy to make more if you ever would like some.

No, it's not really something holy people would partake in, I'd think, so there was nothing silly like this back at home.

Tastes okay, I guess, if a bit mundane.

Is that so? There were many priests and paladins I knew of who would enjoy the free candy and spending time with others. They just ensured they did nothing indecent.

Well, priests and the like aren't really all that holy, at the end of the day, they're just random earth-crawling humans that use some borrowed divine power. Nothing special, really.

I disagree. This "Light" they use seems to require their absolute faith and devotion to it, otherwise it abandons them. That they have the ability to so thoroughly focus of themselves is quite special and admirable.

It only does because they're bores who can't really manage much control over anything, much less their own minds.

True mastery of the divine wouldn't even require a thought!

What is your world like?

[Tenshi was always full of it, sadly. Apparently, she had missed entirely that her kind wasn't supposed to show pride. Like, at all.]

Oh, it's alright. A floating island in heaven, where all the holy ones live. All the food one could ever want, nobody ever needs to do any work and everyone can study philosophy or whatever they want. Well, it's paradise, so what can one expect, really.

[In short, it was totally boring for Tenshi.]

There's also the surface world, where the poor, earth-crawling humans and demons live. They have a lot of incidents, like when a demon steals the moon or a ghost makes it eternal winter. Those are fun to watch. And fun to create, too.

[She probably sounded entirely full of it again. Sadly, everything she said was true this time. For a change.]

[Yeaaaah. Thankfully, dealing with some of the more idiotic members of the Alliance, heroes and not, has given Lihau the patience of a saint.]

That seems terrible! Why do you create such things and watch without helping?

[She does not, however, tolerate toying with others.]

Because it's fun, only people who can take it get hurt, and besides, there's some shrine maiden who solves these problems. She was fun to fight.

And it wasn't as if I destroyed everything with an earthquake, I only pretended to. I mean, I could have caused that earthquake, but didn't. I even rebuilt the shrine I destroyed. Because I'm responsible, you know.

[...At the very least her canon had conflicts that didn't cost lives. She was still terrible, though.]

Ah, that, however, no. I work with leather and animal hides rather than metal and gemstones for rings. I make the armor I wear.

Certainly, I could do that. I would have to see if I could find the supplies I need here, though.

Not much. I believe I can find the mix to tan it myself, but enough wood for a rack and a spot to air it out where no one would bother it is are the difficult parts.

In the end, it's all worked out. But yeah. There were at least more than one or two people who were up there because someone else thought it'd be funny to sign them up.
