How's everyone holding up? I finally healed up from that chimera that blindsided me. Thanks to those cadets that brought me back, whoever you are.

So two things:
1. Trolley dash. Who's in?
2. I noticed there's a movie crew looking for security in the mission log. Anyone interested in a team up?

[Chase is spending the day in the quad, crappy romance novel being held tenderly in his left hand. He's dressed in all red, except his hair which he left blonde. Over his right eye, on his forehead, is a large but healing gash. Beside him in the grass is a huge crate filled with large boxes of chocolate, complete with bows, as well as a few odds and ends for those that didn't like chocolate.

If he sees and knows you, he'll wave and wave you over.]

[Touma's on the hunt for Chase not just because of the "come find me" message, but because now that they're back in civilization, he's been able to get his hands on some stronger meds.]

Heads up.

[As he approaches Chase, he tosses him a tiny (as in, fits in the palm of your hand) jar of high strength cortisone ointment. The throw's angled so that if Chase doesn't catch it and also doesn't knock it off course, it should still land in his lap.]

That trolly dash sounds fun! I would certainly love to give it a try.

Chase, you're all right! Thank goodness. I was worried for a little while. I've got something for you, if you like.

[Hey, he's not that injured. Just sore, okay?]

Yeah, I'm fine. At this point it looks worse than it is.

[It's pain relief! Not to mention anti-inflammatory and protection against infection.]

As the ultimate 'screw you' to the aristocracy, the idea does hold its appeal...

[He sits down at Chase's side, chin in hand.]

Certainly! I have never done anything like this before, however, so I will need some help.

Not too much. [He taps the instructions on the jar.]

You can't if you want heirs - which my grandmother does - without the aid of surrogates, and we'd have to do it overseas. Plus, you're not from a rich family, let alone one with old money, and you're American. [It's all been very matter-of-fact up until this point, but now he gets contemplative:] I think my grandmother would disown me.

In that case I'll have to come! I'll see you soon, right?

Ah, I should push it, then. I tend to weigh more and have more strength than those I have seen.

When this jar gets attacked by a giant monster, then I'll start taking its advice, kay?

Too many fucking rules... [Okay this got depressing fast... Didn't mean to drag it down. Time to joke!] Would I be worth it at least?

...Though maybe we should check to see if there's not some sort of "no superstrength" rule. Don't want to get disqualified for not reading the small print. If not I'll push. I could use the exercise.

[He chuckles and shakes his head, but he trusts Chase to not be an idiot about it.

[Perhaps sadder, Touma's not actually particularly depressed by the repercussions of this hypothetical marriage: He's not entirely sure he'd care if his grandmother disowned him, because she's a horrible person. With a smile, he gives Chase a onceover; his tone's just as jokey.] I don't know. [Wow, man, way to play hard to get.] I'd say you're not my type, but I'm not sure I have one.

[Aerith arrives with a basket full of treats, as promised. She proudly presents them.]

You've got lost time to catch up on, I think.

[Chase just grins at the sight of her--he missed being able to see people. He takes the basket with his good arm and sets it down beside him.] If I didn't have to give stuff to other people I'd give you this whole crate right now. [Put with that he proceeds to fish out a large box of chocolate and a chocobo plushie with a pink ribbon out of it and hands it to her.] Happy Valentine's Day from an idiot who was unable to buy stuff from the GFC like everyone else.

[Thank you. He was totally an honor student in high school and in the Garden... or he would have if they had that sort of thing.

Smiles.] You wound me. ...But seriously, what do you mean you don't have a type?

[Aerith's delight is obvious. She gasps as she picks up the stuffed chocobo, cuddling it immediately.]

It's adorable! And much easier to catch than that red one, I'm sure.

[She gently tosses and catches it.]

I hope you don't mind, I tried a few exotic things for your basket. Chocolate oranges, dipped fruit slices, a couple flavors of truffles. And some tea! I find that comforting sometimes. But if you'd rather have coffee or something else I can scrounge it up!

[A shrug.] I've just never really been interested in anyone. Of any gender.

[Beat.]

That doesn't mean you have to try and find me someone. I'm quite content for Valentines Day to be about friendship or social obligation [depending on where he is] instead of romance.

[He grins. When he saw that he knew he had to get it for her.] You just need to bribe the red one, he's a glutton. Everyone just tries too hard.

I'll try anything but Shellfish once. Primarily because shellfish causes my throat to close. So thank you.
