Not exactly the reminder I could have used, really - temporal displacement, well, that's not really something I do. Well, okay, it is... quite a lot, actually. Actually, forget I said that entirely, but what I mean is...

Now, since I've just been and got my job back - you know, good old librarian job, with all the books and paper and books and things... would you mind telling me why we're on the Esthar continent all of a sudden?

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly familiar with the layout of this planet - except for the bits that got written about, of course - but isn't that the one with all the monsters? The really dangerous ones?

A lot of people feel that way but Commander Zabala wants the SeeDs and cadets to experience life and death situations. We're keeping them patched up though. It's not the prettiest mission I've ever been on mind you, but a mission's a mission.

Speaking of which, that reminds me - I need to go have a bit of a wander in the middle of nowhere for a bit. Now that would be funsies.

You'd be surprised what you can find in the middle of nowhere! That's where discoveries get made, after all. I mean, well, okay, this world is pretty much all explored, but you never know. Better make the most of the trip, eh?

Well, me, I'm not really much of a fighter, me. Make a bit of a habit of travelling the world with just a box and a screwdriver, and never really got into the whole military thing.

[Not that he's ever managed to actually get out of wars and whatnot...]

Still, pretty sure I missed the detail about the monsters and people getting killed.
