[ The corners of Dolphin's mouth twitch and she chuckles. ] Found another present, Star?

[curiouseyes]

I did. It was in my room when I returned.

[tempesting]

Are you going write a "thank you" card?

[curiouseyes]

I don't know who it is from. It was just left in my room. I think I know who it was though.

[tempesting]

You're going to give them a gift as well, right?

[curiouseyes]

Yes, I am planning on it. I want to give them something to thank them.

[tempesting]

Do you need any help picking something out?

[curiouseyes]

I would love some help. Thank you.

[tempesting]

Do you want to meet now or later, because I've just finished some filing so I'm free right now.

[curiouseyes]

I can meet you now! I just finished my studying so I have nothing I have to do right now.

[tempesting]

That's great! I'll meet you in cafeteria, okay? We can grab something hot to drink -- my treat! -- and then start thinking up some ideas. [ She'll start heading there now. ]

[curiouseyes]

Thank you! I'll meet you there! [And she's on the move immediately, flying to the cafeteria still wearing her scarf. When she gets there, she looks around to see if Dolphin is there already]

[tempesting]

[ Dolphin is there, right near the coffee area. When she hears the zhiP! of air followed by Starfire's contrails, she immediately goes to the woman, putting out a hand. ] You're pretty fast. I just got here!

[curiouseyes]

[She comes back to a landing and smiles brightly at her] You're pretty fast too. I wasn't sure how long it was going to take you, where you were in the Garden.

[tempesting]

[ She helps Starfire down, briefly admiring the glint of Starfire's jewelry. ] I was in the office finishing paperwork, but it's all done now. [ She points out the jewelry. ] That's very pretty, Starfire. When did you get it?

[curiouseyes]

It's good that you got it done. [She smiles] This? One of the other cadets gave it to me for the holidays. I got Christmas presents for a lot of people.

[She has a bad habit of spending money. She pulls out a small wrapped box]

I got a present for you too.

[tempesting]

[ Dolphin rises on her tiptoes in surprise, face flushed. ] You didn't have to do that! [ Doesn't mean she doesn't want it, though. ] That's really thoughtful of you, Starfire.

[ She brings her heels back to the ground. ] I got you something, too.

[curiouseyes]

I wanted to! [She smiles, handing her the box]

Thank you! That's very sweet.

[tempesting]

[ Dolphin takes the box into her hands. It's so pretty. It'd be a shame to ruin the paper. ] You wrapped it so nicely, Star. I almost don't want to ruin the wrapping paper by ripping it off.

[curiouseyes]

Really? I have extra paper if you want some?

[tempesting]

Oh no! [ She laughs, putting a hand on Starfire's shoulder. ] I'm just being silly, Star. Save your paper.

[ She carefully open the present, peeling at the tape to unwrap the box to make sure it doesn't tear. ] What is it, I wonder.

[curiouseyes]

Oh... [Right over her head.

Kory watches eagerly as she unwraps it. Inside is a small box with a necklace that has a seashell on it] I hope you like it.

[tempesting]

What is -- oh!! [ Once the paper and the box top are off, she gently lifts with her thumb and index finger, the gorgeous jewelry from the cushiony bottom of the box. ]

Starfire, it's beautiful!

[curiouseyes]

I glad you think so. I saw it and thought of you. [She smiles brightly, glad her friend liked the present]
