We've treated enough wounds that got too big, haven't we? I'm glad it's all under control now, but we could definitely use a break.

Yeah. I am a little tired, but I want to make sure everyone is okay.

We will be! When everyone's stable we can take a nice, long rest. You've done very well.

That would be great. I think after all this, everyone could use a break!

I'm all right, Blondie. Gonna need some of your help getting this arm back in its socket, however.

Where are you and what did you do?

Never mind. Just head to the infirmary or tell me where you are and I can come find you, Eugene.

Easy, Blondie! I'm fine. Flynnigan is fine, too. He's actually kinda scared right now and needs his Mommy Punzel. I'l come to the infirmary, since it's better to keep you there with all those patients.

Okay. I'll see you here soon then.

[ He arrives more or less ten minutes later, his injured arm in the make-shift sling he had made, and the other arm holding Flynnigan's leash. Speaking of Flynnigan, as soon as the doors open, he bursts in, barking excitedly, and runs for Rapunzel. ]

Oh Blondie. Your favorite men are here!

[And Rapunzel turns at the familiar voice and barking, looking relieved and worried at the same time as Eugene enters and she hurries to them.]

Eugene! Your arm...sit down on a bed and I'll fix it, okay? [It looked like it hurt. She bit her lip and gathered her hair in her arms, readying herself to heal him, relieved it wasn't worse as Flynnigan stayed nearby and pawed at her hair still trailing on the ground as it moved when she shifted.]

[ Eugene does as he's told. ] Hey--c'mon Flynn. Careful of Blondie's feet. [ Flynnigan stops his roughhousing with Rapunzel's hair and scampers over to where Eugene takes a seat on the edge of one of the medical beds. ]

Good boy. He's getting better with or--oww! [ He accidentally jerked his injured arm. Yeah, that smarts. He looks up as Rapunzel moves towards him with her hair, giving her a brave smile. ]

Thanks, Babe.

[Rapunzel is quite used to Flynn bounding around at her ankles and hair by now.]

He is, much better than when we first got him. It'll be okay, just stay still. [Reaching over and gently wrapping her hair around his arm, closing her eyes and starting to sing as Flynn sits and listens, head tilted slightly at the sight. After all this time here, she was comfortable enough to reveal about her hair, using it to help in the infirmary as well as the recovery magic she was learning.]

[ Eugene is sweetly lulled by Rapunzel's voice. It is the most beautiful melody he's heard his entire life. Partly because he's in love with Rapunzel, and partly because there's a warm, honey tone of Rapunzel's voice. He looks at his arm, wrapped in Rapunzel's glowing hair, and feels the pain lessen. But the arm is still out of its socket. He reaches his good arm around and wraps his fingers about his limb -- then gives it a shove to his shoulder.

The pain isn't as bad as it would be without Blondie's healing powers, but still, it stings. He clenches his teeth and hisses, wincing. ]

[Rapunzel takes a breath, opening her eyes as Eugene hisses, hoping she had helped even if he still seemed to be in pain. She wasn't sure if she should wait a moment to unwrap her hair from his arm.] Is it better? What happened?

[ Flynnigan yips in concern, but Eugene nervously laughs it off. ] I'm fine, you two. Just had to get my arm back in its socket after you cleared up the breakage, Babe, that's all. [ He experiments, moving his now un-injured arm, finding it to be back in working order. His eyes go to Rapunzel's, a reassuring, cocksure grin on his mouth. ]

Good as new.

And how did your arm break? [She's looking at him expectantly, moving to slowly unwrap her hair when he reassures her he is fine. She's glad to be able to help him, help everyone, but it would be a lot better if all this pain could be avoided in the first place.]

[ Eugene helps unwrap the hair, shaking his arm out to loosen the fibers. ] Bookshelf fell on me during the earthquake. It was already bad before the shelf fell, actually, but it's nothing. [ He shrugs his shoulders with a noncommittal expression, then reaches over to set Rapunzel's hair right. ]

What about you?

Already bad before that? What happened to your arm before the bookshelf fell on it then? [The bookshelf isn't too surprising, given he did work in the library. They should find some way to secure the big, heavy furniture to the walls or something, somehow, she mused.]

I've been fine, just helping out here in the infirmary. You're certainly not the first person coming in here hurt somehow with all of this.

I banged it up a bit shoving the bigger shelves upright. Your friend Ed helped me. [ He needs to remembered to thank Ed the next time he and Eugene see one another. Ed's help in the library secured tons of literary material and saved a couple dozen students from being flattened by the taller shelves. ]

I heard, and kind of expect so, though it's unfortunate that there are so many people injured.

[ While Rapunzel and Eugene talk, Flynnigan sees his chance to do some exploring, he starts sniffing about the infirmary. ]

How'd you do during the attack? I mean, I know you can fend for yourself... [ must respect his warrior lady's frying pan. ] ...but I was pretty worried back there.

[Rapunzel gives a nod, it's not too surprising to hear Ed was in the library at the time and helped out.]

I'm glad he was there to help. It's been busier than usual here, but I guess that's to be expected. Hopefully things will calm down soon though.

[She runs a hand through her hair, sitting next to him and keeping an eye on Flynn before turning her gaze back to Eugene.] It was a little scary, but I just stayed here. I wanted to make sure everyone here was okay, that I'd be able to help after things died down.

[ Eugene lets out a sigh of relief that he'd been internally holding ever since the attack on Garden happened. ] Phew. That's good to know. Even though you could have taken an army of those guys no problem with your warrior skills.

[ He puts his arms about Rapunzel, pulling her close. ]

How 'bout Pascal?

It's a good thing I tend to keep a frying pan pretty close at hand. I know these attacks don't happen often or anything, but still... [Even with Mother Gothel gone, she can't help but still be a little cautious.]

Pascal is fine too, he's been with me the whole time.

You'd do fine, Babe.

[ He moves a hand against Rapunzel's hair, lifting it back so that he can see around Rapunzel's neck. ]

What. I don't get a hug or anything for surviving? You're one cold frog.

[Pascal, who was, of course, curled up at Rapunzel's neck and shoulder merely pokes his tongue out at that, but Rapunzel reaches and wraps her arms around Eugene's waist.] I'm glad you're okay, Eugene. I would have come looking for you myself but things got pretty busy here. I still wanted to check on you though. And Pascal isn't a frog, he's a chameleon. Frogs can't change colour like he can.

[ He chuckles evilly. ] I know, Babe, I know. Just like getting his chameleon tail sometimes.

[ He puts his forehead against Rapunzel's. They're nice and close together. ] Well, I'm here now, so you don't have to go far. [ He reaches into Rapunzel's hair and scoops up Pascal. He turns his head slightly, whistling to Flynnigan. The wolf pup comes bounding over, butt wagging, tongue lolling. ]

Look, Flynn. It's Pascal! You were pretty worried about your little buddy, weren't you? [ Whether or not the pup understands, he yips. ] You want to spend some quality time with Pascal? Well...okay! Here you go!

[ He gives Pascal a little bounce to land on Flynnigan's back. The chameleon clings to the wolf pup's fur with a brief look of panic, before giving Eugene a dirty look. ] Go have fun, you two.

Of course. [She gives a small, amused smirk. She should probably be glad Maximus isn't here was well, given how he and Eugene were together.]

I don't, now that you're here. [She blinks when Eugene shifts Pascal. As long as the two were together and all right. She gives Eugene a small, knowing smile.] Flynn was worried about Pascal, hm?

[ He chuckles, turning back to Rapunzel as soon as Flynnigan (with passenger Pascal) scamper off to explore the infirmary. ] He acts like he doesn't like Pascal, and yet he whines whenever Pascal is gone too long.

[ Slyly, he moves one arm from around Rapunzel's torso and slides it underneath her legs. Quickly before Rapunzel can react, he scoops his girlfriend into his arms and then sets her on his lap. The hand that went underneath Rapunzel's legs, he moves to rest on her knee, while the other holds her upright against him.

He presses his lips to hers in a more fervent kind of kiss. ]

Ah. We wouldn't want that, now would we? [She bites her lip in amusement, giving a small noise of surprise when he lifts her a little to sit on his lap, but quickly relaxes and returns the kiss in kind, relieved that he was all right after the attack. Her hand rises to his neck, running through his hair as the other curls in his shirt.]

[ Eugene is careful with his next move. He tilts his head, moving his lips from Rapunzel's lips, and then to her chin. Then back to her lips, this time, tilting her back a bit. ]

[She clings a little tighter when she feels him tilting her back a little, instinctively, her mouth opening a little more when his lips next move to hers from her chin. Rapunzel either forgets where they are or doesn't care at the moment, as Flynn and Pascal explore and try to stay out of the way of the staff.]

[ Eugene is getting the idea that Rapunzel knows what is going on. So he parts his lips just a bit as well. Her breath is warm on his face, and the hand resting on her knee he moves to cup her cheek. ]

[Rapunzel was still savoring the novelty of the more romantic kisses they shared, quite different somehow from her own first time kissing him, a more chaste press of her lips to his. But it wasn't a bad kind of different. Just, different.]

[ Eugene is unsure how to take this further. He wants to put more into his and Rapunzel's relationship, but since she's all too new to the mechanics of a more "playful" relationship, he doesn't want to scare her way. He decides to continue moving slowly, moving his lips down, to suck on her lower lip, the hand at her cheek trailing down against her spine, moving slowly down her side. ]

[Rapunzel is still new to a lot of things, always seeing and learning something new. Her relationship with Eugene was no different, even if she was still oblivious and naive at times, she was doing her best and just wanted to be with him. She shivers a little when he runs his hand down her spine, her hand moving from the back of his neck to his cheek.]

[ Success so far, Eugene moves from her lips, to down. Down to the juncture where her neck meets her shoulders. He uses a hand to pull back Rapunzel's hair, baring her neck, and kisses her there, then trails kisses upwards to her chin. All while his fingers ghost up Rapunzel's sides and settle to staying at her hips, his thumbs massaging small circles through the fabric of her dress. ]

[Rapunzel shifts a little when he kisses at her neck, her hair trailing further down behind her as she moves. She decides it feels kind of nice so when he kisses back upwards she leans in to place a kiss at his neck herself as her hand curled in his shirt shifts to the bed, curling in the sheets.]

[ Relieved that Rapunzel is following, Eugene lets things proceed. He's not surprised when Rapunzel takes her turn to kiss his neck (she's a fast learner). He makes a tiny sound then takes his hands and lifts Rapunzel's chin just a bit to take back her lips to his.

His fingers stop their massaging at Rapunzel's hips and then go back up her sides. They stray at her middle, smoothing a hand above her stomach, then running back down to her sides to clench her hips. He makes little nudges with his nose, pausing from her lips to kiss her nose, cheeks and chin. ]

[Rapunzel is indeed a fast learner, learning by imitating what Eugene does to her or what she reads or seeing other people doing. Right now, other people are the last thing on her mind, as she savours this time with him, returning his kiss and her hand at his cheek reaching back to run her fingers through his hair.

When he kisses her nose, she instinctively wrinkles it a little, taken aback. She's been kissed on the lips, the cheek and forehead before but that seemed new. And then, because she knows how he is about his nose, she leans in to return the favour and kiss his in kind.]

[ Oh ho~ Playful are we?

Eugene lets go of her torso and settles to wrap his arms about her body and then pull with him as she rolls back onto the patient bed, raising himself on his arms to continue kissing Rapunzel who is now leaning over him. ]

[Playful is one of many words that could be used to descibe the girl with the magic hair.

She laughs when he shifts them, her hair rippling with the movement when he does it, returning the kiss as she leans a little lower, a little of her weight pressing on him as she does, one arm near the side of his head and the other brushing some of her hair back.]

[ The hands at his sides move up her legs to rest on her thighs. He traces a smooth line half-way up the back of Rapunzel's legs, then back down. All while continuing to kiss her. ]
