Not to put too blunt of an edge on the question, but who here can use magic? Not paramagic. Who here was born with actual magic? I've a notion to offer some lessons in Potions on the side, spread the knowledge around. Never hurts to have a few more people with a few more skills, if you can learn it.

[And people to do the hard work of gathering and preparing ingredients for his own work, but let's not mention that.]

What can I? Haven't the foggiest. What I'd try, though, is the art of brewing potions. No clue if it will work without proper magic, but the effort might be worth it.

Can't hurt, can it? (Some minor damage during the learning process, maybe. That's easily fixed. We have an Infirmary after all.) Having some potionmakers would be useful.

Potionmaking is all about the process. Follow the instructions, mind the subtleties. It might be that anyone can do it if they've got the magic.

Precisely why we keep ourselves separate from Muggles! If it's not 'use your magic for my problems' it's 'burn the witch', and frankly we're all quite tired of it.

Well I'm certainly not shouting it on the rooftops. Not safe out there. But in Garden, well. We have talking unicorns, shadow creatures, green-skinned girls. Hardly seems any point to it.

Not quite. Unicorns have the horns. Ones with both wings and horns are royalty, I gather. Do have a talk with Luna sometime, she's quite worth the volume.
