[Action]
[Tobias has been feeling a little creative lately. How? Well... he filled his side of his dorm with pictures of his family -- Grell, Espio, Marco, and even some of Whitebeard, after getting the description from Marco again -- and now he's working on the people around Garden.
If you walk through the Quad, you might feel the teen's eyes on you as you walk past. Anyone who comes into view is being drawn in the sketchbook he has, a quick little pencil drawing that none the less is enough for him to remember them by. Of course, he only knows a few people around here, so most of the drawings go unlabeled.
He's immensely absorbed in this, paying attention to little else but the paper and his current subject.]

HOORAY! /pops firecrackers
[...Well, that works too. Tobias flips through the pages, showing drawings of quite a few members of Garden -- all that he could get a good look at. None of them seem really malicious, if drawings can be -- they're simple sketches in various innocent or idle poses with the only notes being the name of the person drawn, if he knows it.]

Hey, that one's not bad. [The sketch he's pointing at is of some native girl he vaguely recognises from one of his classes, a bundle of nerves wrapped up in ill-fitting cadet uniform.] You must be pretty quick with these. Can't imagine she'd stand around long enough to model for you.

[He smiles brightly.]
If I can get a good look at someone or something, I can draw them without having to keep looking at them. But it always looks better if they do hold still.
She didn't notice me, though.

[...Yeah, total obliviousness here, Ed.]

...Personal question, but how old are you?
[Not a question that he asks often, either, for one possibly obvious reason.]
no subject
I'm 16.
no subject
[He straightens up.]
Well, good luck with that. Would've thought you'd want to add more names than that to make a useful memory aid, but if you're having fun, what do I care?
[Because indifference has to be the only reason his name is missing, of course. How could anyone not have heard of him by now?]
no subject
I don't know people's names or I'd write them down.
[He looks really sad about that.]
...What's yours?

Ah, there's your picture!]

Within moments, the sketch seems to have coloured itself in. And Ed, going by the look on his face, seems to be waiting for a reaction.]

That was amazing! How'd you do that?
no subject
I said I could go one better than telling you I'm the best damn alchemist you're ever going to meet, didn't I?
[He puffs himself up into a dramatic (and self-satisfied) pose, pointing a thumb towards himself.]
The name's Edward Elric. Now you'll remember it.

[He's looking at the page in amazement, poking the drawing a bit.]
Can you show me how to do that?

Actually, no, forget it. You don't look like the type.

[And he walks away, trying not to look like he's in a hurry.]
