[So having wandered around the Garden a few times, he managed to have a good idea of where is what and how to get from point A to point B. He never thought he'd think it, but he misses Ikebukuro already. At least this place has vending machines. Which he is frowning at one right now.

Why the hell don't they have cigarette vending machines here.]

... Tch. [He takes a long drag from the one he's currently smoking, giving the machine a glare before he turns around and leans against it. If they're gonna be stuck here, at least have adequate supplies for the masses. People these days.

[ Celty happens to be walking by when she decides to wander past the vending machine area so as to find a shortcut to the female dorms. She notices a bit of smoke coming from the last machine in the line and wonders where it was wafting from. She turns her head around the corner and comes face to face with a familiar person.]

[ Hi Shizuo. Here's Kasuka, padding out of the cafeteria with a carton of milk in each hand. Spotting Shizuo, Kasuka meanders over and silently offers one to his brother.

Now would be a good time to quit smoking, you know. ]

[He glances up just as Kasuka hands him a carton, staring at it for a moment. He scoffs a little in something akin to amusement and takes it]

[ Kasuka shakes his head in response, offering Shizuo a straw before holding out an ashtray he produces from seemingly nowhere. Can't smoke and drink at the same time, 'niisan. ]

... [Sighs. Okay okay, he gets it. He puts out the cigarette in the ashtray before taking the straw and opening the carton.]

[ That's a good boy. The ashtray gets set down on top of a nearby trash can so that Kasuka can enjoy his own milk. Then he just sort of... stands next to his brother in comfortable silence, sipping at his carton. ...hm. He misses the bottles. The cartons always taste a little bit like cardboard. ]
