Homecoming Carnival!

[There seems to be a festive atmosphere all throughout Garden. Why? Because it's the Homecoming Carnival! The Garden Festival Committee and their unaffiliated helpers have been hard at work all morning and when 1300 hours strikes, it's finally open for everyone to enjoy.

Each attraction will have its own thread. We've listed the people running shifts in the top comments as a reminder to those who signed up; feel free to make your character a thread for their shift even if you missed OOC signups.

Characters have different shifts which allow for everyone to enjoy other parts of the carnival as well instead of being stuck manning a booth the whole night. For the dunk tank, kissing booth, food booths, and talent quest it's best to leave your character's name in the subject of their comment to start off their thread indicating their shift/time onstage.

Proceeds will be going towards building and furnishing a student lounge for fun stuff, so most attractions cost money:
Kissing booth: 2 gil per kiss
Ferris wheel, bumper cars, carousel: 5 gil per person
Carnival games (throwing/shooting X at Y, water gun race, whack a mole, skee ball, Ring the Bell, etc): 1 gil per game
Face painting: 2 gil per person
Food stalls: Snow cones 3 gil, cotton candy 3 gil, and funnel cake 5 gil; "food from your home world" up to individual characters
Dunk tank: 5 gil for 3 balls, 10 gil for 10 balls
Fortune telling: 3 gil per reading
Marriage booth: 5 gil a couple
Balloon animals: 3 gil an animal
Wandering entertainers: Donations welcome
Judgmental Claire stare: 5 gil

[Pinkie pauses in her work and tilts her head.]

That has NOTHING to do with an eyepatch! [She continues blowing up the balloons again.]

Of course it does. They don't have to worry about it covering up their eyesight so they can be extra cool!

But who's gonna measure the COOL FACTOR?!

[Once she finishes with the balloons, it's time to work her magic! Scooping up balloons to make a T-Rexaur, Pinkie moves her arms in a blur of twists and turns too fast for the eye to catch!]

I will, it'll be fine--

Wow, you're actually good at this. [Not that he's... surprised or anything... okay yeah, he's surprised.]

How will you measure coolness?! Did you learn from Rainbow Dash?! She's like THE QUEEN of measuring coolness!

[Pinkie produces the finished product and hands it over to the instructor.]

How is it?!

Rainbow Dash is the blue one, right? [Like how you're the pink one, okay.] I learned it on my own in the streets. [Trying so hard to be cool now jeez.]

It's good. [Firm nod.] Definitely cool. [Like he'd know :|]

UUUUUHHHHH she's more of a teal and sky blue mix than blue, but yeah! That's her!

[She takes up the other balloons and gets to work making that shark!]

Wow! You must be made of TOUGH STUFF!! Now you should TOTALLY meet Dashie! She's cool AND tough AND a teal-sky blue color!!

Right. [Blank stare. He's almost nearly color-blind, but okay.]

What makes her tough?

Dashie does these AMAZING tricks that BREAK SOUND AND BRING RAINBOWS!! She's super fearless, too!

[She finishes the shark and takes up a paint brush. Pinkie dips it into black paint and draws on an eyepatch.]

She breaks mach speed?

[Okay happy ears. That shark is looking awesome aw yes. B)]

No, she breaks RAINBOW SOUND SPEEDS! She's practically faster than the speed of color!!

[She hands over the shark happily.] TA DAAAAAAA!
