We take it that you are having a particularly eventful time, Professor? Considering that We have not heard much from you around here as of late.

And do call us curious to this potion, We know it is not required within Garden but We are quite willing to test what limits it can take.

Ah, well, you know me, never one to make a fuss. A comfortable office and some time for my own pursuits, that's all I ask.

This potion is ridiculous. I was getting on just fine as I was.

Never intended it to be mandatory. But... well, the world out there is growing cold. Cold and dark. I didn't return to teaching for the peace and relaxation, you know.

Yeah, sure, whatever.

Anyway. Question. What happens if you disappear, like so many people have disappeared already? Can this potion still even be made? I mean, it's off-world magic, right?

Also, it gives me a headache.

The recipe is tricky, I admit, but an attentive wizard can prepare it if they follow my directions precisely. In fact I believe anyone with magic can do it.

Your type of magic, or anyone's type of magic? I know at least one guy whose magic is basically just magically directed chemistry.

Princess Luna has a knack for it. Now, unicorn hair does make excellent wand cores, but as her magic's directed through her horn? There must be a difference. But brewing a potion is all about the recipe, not the wand anyway. So long as you have magic to infuse into it...

Right. Still not really seeing it as a viable long-term solution. Especially if it causes headaches.

It's safe. I promise that much. Just not nearly as ready as I would like.

Headaches, though, that's something I can address. Anything else you've noticed?

The second time I tried it, I kept getting dizzy spells. My balance is kind of screwed up anyway, thanks to the height difference and the lack of a tail, so combining that with dizzy spells is not good.

The headaches weren't so bad that time, though. I was actually willing to get up and move around.

Yes, I can solve this. Not right away. I'll need some ingredients I don't have. No trouble to get them, though, and fairly soon.

No use in a mandatory potion if it stops me doing my job in the field.
