[ there's music coming from one corner of the Quad; it's not so loud that it's overly intrusive, but it is noticeable, to anyone passing by. At the source of the sound sits Luka, legs crossed as she scribbles down a mixture of musical symbols and binary code. While she doesn't have any sort of music player on her person, the sound is definitely coming from her. It's not one set tune or song, and it changes entirely every few seconds, interjected with short bursts of static. All the while, Luka half-hums, half-sings under her breath ]

… I wanna rip and release your throat right now, I want to make you all mine... ♪ [ she pauses, and taps her pen against her lower lip, muttering to herself ] I probably ought to stop writing songs like that. [ with a sigh, she changes her tone, continuing to make notes on the sheet of paper set out in front of her ] ♫ Japanese ninja number one, we go creeping into the girls' locker room...

[Rion's not trying to be a creeper, he's really not, he just. You know, is naturally quiet, and also curious about things, so he's just sort of going to ... wander over and maybe peer over her shoulder for a bit, looking at what she's writing with the most absolutely confused expression on his face. The musical symbols, he can get, he understands the sheet music part - it's the 0s and 1s that have him looking as if Luka had just told him she's a robot wait she already did that the moon was made of cheese.

... don't mind him. He's just going to peer. And then maybe make some sort of sound, maybe knocking against something gently.]

[Rion shakes his head, then motions to what she's writing down - and then, almost immediately, starts writing himself, hoping he's not intruding on her or anything. If she's willing to read what he's got to say, he'll hold it out after a moment so she can read.

One wonders if there's any way to plug the pad into her, so she can see what he's writing directly, but that's not something he would ask or really contemplate. And this works well enough, anyway!]

I was just reading what you were writing. What's with all the 0s and 1s, though? I've never seen any notation like that.

[ einiona spends more time in the quad than anywhere else in garden, p...ossibly because her room looks like a disaster area right now which is ENTIRELY NOT HER FAULT (except for how it is), and because she is a nosy nosy intrusive little twerp she is of course now peering over luka's shoulder, eyebrows up and ~*~investigative~*~ ... and maybe a little mischievous (shhh! don't tell anybody! you're not supposed to notice!). she makes a small intrigued noise and tucks her hands behind her back, tilting her head to get a better look. ]
