[BBS] Backdated to the laptop confiscation
[The user id assigned to this post doesn't match any of the existing students, SEED, or faculty, past or present.]
Just wanted to inform everyone the reason their laptops were confiscated was due to bugs being implanted in them.
Seeing as the school was trying to cover this up, I figured someone should inform you you were all potentially leaking sensitive information.

how is all this possible? ._.;
Better get cracking.]
Do you have proof? |
[Two can play at this game.]
mod approval. I think Damian got the other ID from Dolphin? I'd have to ask Ziya again x.x
[Can you read the sarcasm, Grell?]
neat! :O
It can, but how are we to know you're not just another person wanting to stir up unnecessary trouble?|
[Ugh, tracing another's source is such a pain. Grell's still insistent on finding out who this mystery person is.]
<33
As you're apparently the one with all the answers, why do you think all of the laptops went in for maintenance simultaneously?
Is his post untraceable or does it go back to someone else?
Sorry about that, I had to ask the mods x.x
You couldn't care less. If you could care less you're caring a lot.
no worries! thanks for clarifying!
So noted.|
[This user is unreasonable. She'll have to take this up to the Headmaster.]
Np! Bring it on, Grell.

[Only thing is she thinks it's the other Robin, because that's who she's more familiar with. Oops?]
/threadjacking if that's okay
I'd be more worried about what he's telling us.
- Damian R.
HDU?! And by that I mean hi bb 'sup?
Didn't have any sensitive information to leak. Hardly ever used it anyway.
[And if she is concerned? She's not going to say so on here.]
not much m'dear, how 'bout you?
It's more the principle of the matter. We may be off-worlders and thus not proper citizens of this world, but that doesn't mean we should be treated like pawns in a chess game either.
One day, they're spying on us through our tech... the next, who knows?
You know how it do. /brb dying for using such a horrible expression
And what do you suggest we do about it? They're already dealing with the bug problem. Seems like it's taken care of.
[Since Artemis is moonlighting as a normal cadet, she might as well act like one.]
The bathrooms you think? Maybe we should stop showering before they catch us naked.
ddjgkl;f ilu too
Our sponsors aren't exactly from Balamb. They've got their reasons for hosting us, I'm sure.
Ew. :/ That's just slagged.
hahaha too and do rhyme /dead again from derp
[This is why she'll never be on the Justice League.]
Of course there's strings attached. There's always strings with this sort of thing. Just have to wait until they pull on them to find out how they want us to dance.
Your point?
clearly we win at life ♥
[PM]
Letting the bigwigs handle this is a terrible idea. I say this as someone who's been here almost two years: they don't know what they're doing. Headmaster does, yeah, but he's also the only one.
I say we attack them back. If they bugged us, we should send them a welcoming present in return.
All the winning. >D
[PM]
Like I could say anything else in public? You should know better than that by now. Don't know about you, but I'm not exactly ready to admit to the cowl in public just yet.
Yeah? What've you got in mind?
no subject
I wish I could. :/ But apparently Headmaster's figured out my secret identity. It's more than a little disgusting.
I was thinking we'd send them a nice computer virus. Problem is, I'm not as technosavvy as some of my friends were, so I'm not the go-to person for writing up that kind of code. You know anyone who would be?
no subject
Well there aren't exactly a lot of people around here who we can blend in with normally. Add a costume and then our features really make us stand out.
[Like her hair and his height.]
Back home, no problem? Here? Not so much.
no subject
I don't know many people here - there's a couple, but they're also the SeeD involved in debugging the computers. Even if we don't do it NOW, it'd be good to find someone who could for later.
no subject
Yeah, that's a useful skillset to have around. Any ideas?
no subject
The minute we find someone, we should set it in motion.

Okay, R. Thank you so much for revealing the truth. It's a completely worthless detail that none of us have any use for, but thanks. I hope you're happy with yourself and your deluded notion that the truth must reign supreme.
But, speaking of leaking sensitive information, you've also revealed Garden's awareness of the bugs and the fact they may well have implemented countermeasures and/or are seeking out the culprits to those who actually can use the information. Namely: spies, vigilantes, and idiots. Any organisation that has bugged a bunch of computers intended primarily for student use are sure to have other means of observation in place.
So, this information has now officially gotten back to those responsible, assuming they hadn't worked it out already, and now they'll be working on their next move, and taking measures to avoid detection.
And oh. Yes. In case you forgot, this may be a school for the training of mercenaries, but that doesn't magically change the fact that the vast majority of the student body are minors, and are by nature prone to impulsive and stupid actions. Which is pretty much exactly what this post falls under.
