[Action] • Arrival
[Squall hadn't known what to expect after defeating Ultimecia, but suddenly standing in the Garden library had been furthest from his mind. He read the letter that was lying on the desk in front of him, but scowling at it wasn't going to help things make more sense, so he's now walking briskly through the hallway, heading for the Headmaster's office, looking for any signs of his comrades -- no, friends -- along the way.]

I don't have time for this.

Part of that whole, Time Compression thing. Okay people are being taken from other worlds, you're with me on that? Same as with your world, just different times. For some reason, you are one of the ones that seems to bounce out the most. Rinoa's stayed consistent the whole time, some of the people have been around long enough to have graduated and become teachers. But for whatever reason, you and Seifer never seem to last more than a few months.
In any case, you can't exactly rush off to anywhere. Not really.

Like I said, it's frustrating.

[It's not like he owes this stranger an explanation or apology, after all -- why apologize for something he didn't do? But he does feel bad about leaving Rinoa (even if it wasn't actually him who left), so as he walks away, he's wondering what to do about it.]

[If Marco knew that Squall was actually worried about Rinoa, that would probably make him more friendly. As it stands though, he's still just trying not to be mad at him for something Squall has no control over. He heads out too though. Not much to say to Commander of silence.]
