[Merlin had wanted to stay with Freya tonight, to help make sure she was okay through her transformation. But she'd insisted on him going back to his dorm room and getting some sleep. Reluctantly, Merlin had complied, though he still felt like he should be there with her.

Well, I did say the stories have had centuries upon centuries to mutate.

And actually, I think the aging backwards was just one specific person's take on it that a few other people just adopted, around about the twentieth to the twenty-first centuries.

Fun? You think this is fun? Magic is illegal, and even if Arthur wouldn't have me executed for being magic, he still hates it. He'll hate me, if he hears that I have magic. And now it turns out that there are legends where everyone knows what I am, except they also think that I age backwards and helped uther and who's knows what other mad stories. And you think this is fun>?!
