second pie [BBS]
[Cissie's been gone long enough for Rorona to realize her only apprentice has gone home, but she's been busy pouting in private and making pies to say anything about it. Now, though, it's time to see if she can't find anyone else to teach alchemy to.]
Is there anyone who wants to learn alchemy?? I'm looking for possible new apprentices! OR just an apprentice.
Anyway, if you're interested, lemme know! And... I'll interview you!

thankfully it would appear that my dearest sister has already voiced any questions and concerns i might have had so i do believe things are set to go

[SECRET GEEK MODE ACTIVATE. Rose saw alchemy and just couldn't help making an oblique reference to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone]

Ahaha, um... I don't think so!! (・∀・)

I'm immensely glad for that. There's enough potentially dangerous objects floating about that contributing to the market would only result in oversaturation rather than any useful alchemical feat.

/slides in here...
though of course i imagine he would be rather more aghast at that ghastly series of glorified ya penny dreadfuls that couldnt even settle on a proper title for the artifact it was so keen to ascribe to him
[yeah he caught that. it's not like he hasn't caught onto Rose's closet bits of geekery before(and really, knowing his Rose, it's not hard) but this is just too good. low-hanging fruit.]
get out of here david leave rose to her wizardry
seriously going for the easy blows now are we. she knew that you were lazy, but this is just sad.]
The books and their author had practically no hand in the way their titles were localized - you certainly can't blame a publishing company for pandering to a country's inability to recognize anything remotely approaching foreign. Sales are paramount in their industry, after all.

low-hanging fruit, okay.]
and this refutes my point how exactly
just you wait until she learns the jelly legs jinx you'll be sorry then
what's the matter, anything not falling onto your head too far above your skill level?]
By stating that those 'penny dreadfuls' of yours had no more the ability to standardize their titles than we do. I thought that was abundantly obvious, my apologies.
yeah yeah
mine
really now dearest sister of mine you and i both know that when cast in an unironic context theyre distinctly your area and brazenly so
you will wobble right off a great height and it will be glorious
I have no stronger affiliation with that series than I do with any other work of fiction. Considering that you were the one to initially bring it up in this conversation I believe that my assignment of responsibility is apt.

You think you could make me some pie sometime? I'd totally make it up to you.
- Tom [Hey, Rorona's an instructor too; he doesn't need to deal with the formalities here.]

Pie? Okay!! I always like making pies, so it's no problem!! (^O^☆♪
