[To say that Yuna is confused would be an understatement. The last thing she remembers is drifting off to sleep, and suddenly she's lying on a cold, hard floor with a strange, robed figure hovering over her saying something about sleeping in the hallway being against the rules.

After berating Yuna for a few minutes, with the poor girl unable to get a word in edgewise, the robed figure suddenly thrusts a letter into her hands and walks away. She unfolds the paper and begins reading, eyebrows furrowing the further down the letter she gets.]

I...what?

[Clutching the letter, she begins wandering the hallway, searching for someone to explain what's going on. Anyone besides the incredibly rude person who woke her up, of course.]

HEADS UP!

[With just that much warning, a blitzball blasts by, uncomfortably close. It ricochets off the wall, spinning up in an arc that leads it back to the hands of the man who'd kicked it to begin with.]

Heh... Sorry about that, you kinda came out of nowhere.

Huh?

[She doesn't realize what's going on until the blitzball whooshes by, just inches from her face. She makes sure that her nose is still attached, then turns to the person addressing her.]

...Sir Jecht?

[Yuna rushes over to him.]

H-how are you -- what are you doing here!?

Well, well! [There's no recognition in his eyes, just good cheer.] Always nice to be recognized. Let me guess, you're new here and from Spira, huh?

[Though... she DOES look a little familiar.... somehow...]

[That Jecht doesn't recognize her may be the strangest thing about the entire situation. Surely after all that has happened...]

S-sir Jecht? It's me...Yuna.

Yuna, huh -- [Then it clicks, leaving Jecht staring in surprise.]

Braska's kid? That Yuna?! That's YOU?!

Hey, are you all right? [Sees the letter.]

New? ...Oh. [She looks down at the letter then at the stranger and nods.]

I'm Yuna.

[Smiles sheepishly.] Usually only newbies carry the letter around.

Kate Bishop, nice to meet you. [Offers her hand.]

[She laughs, despite herself.] I guess I do stick out like a sore thumb, huh?

[Yuna shakes her hand.] Are you from here?

[When you're roaming around trying to get a good look at the place you're currently stuck in, you have a pretty good chance of coming across people even if you're not exactly meaning too.

After Xion watches the robed figure berate the obvious newbie about sleeping in the hall, Xion steps forward, hood covering her face.

Nope never gonna get rid of her cloak and stop being such a shady character. Not that she realizes how suspicious she looks!]

-- Sorry, I was just trying to get to the library. [His other hand lands on the back of his head, and he tries not to look too embarrassed at her startled gasp.]

Nice to meet you, Yuna! [He grins at her, offering a hand to shake.] Can I help you find anything?
