[Just for a post like that, Ahki? Bilal actually went to the effort of making what he hopes are Ahki's favorite desserts. Whenever Ahki comes back, there'll be a nice big case of nice, warm, and gooey chocolate-chip cookies, molten lava cakes, and even a few kinds of bread. There's a note too, taped to the case:

Thanks. I owed you one.]

[Not his favorites, but hey he'll eat them. They look edible, after all, and it would be a shame for them to go to waste. He'll be eating one of the cookies when Bilal comes back in.]

Hey.

[He grins, setting his backpack on the floor and running towards the table for a cookie.] How're they? "Barely edible?"

If you know the answer, don't ask the question. [Munch.]

Well, how else'm I supposed to open up a conversation? It's not like I actually... ["go to class now"] take the same courses.

[Not the world's greatest detective, but he's not dumb.] I still say we go to the headmaster and complain. This is ridiculous. [Munch.]

I already went. [rolls his eyes as he helps himself to another cookie] If you think you'll have luck the second time, then by all means, go.

You shouldn't have gone alone in the first place. The more people who show up, the more he sees how many are effected.

I didn't go alone. Mikuru-senpai [and here he pauses to correct himself:] I mean, Mikuru and I went together since we were the presidents of Garden's two most important clubs.

Maybe we should've done something bigger and gotten all club presidents, but... I guess we could try again.

[Arches an eyebrow at the honorific. Why...?] That sounds like it was a terrible idea.

[Because she's his Japanese tutor and he might sorta-kinda respect her.] Not in theory. The GFC and DiscComm hold the most power at Garden, so us meeting with Headmaster Cid would've gotten more leverage than say, some random Cadets.

Though I guess if we wanted to go for real power, we should've gone to the Commander or Mrs. Kramer.

It may be a show of force, but sometimes you need more finesse. [Says the human wrecking ball.]

[The wrecking ball has a point. Hrm...]

We'll arrange an appointment with the Commander then. You figure out what you wanna say, I'll... ["make sure you don't kill him"] go for moral support.

No, we get all the so-called underaged first.

Only the off-worlders though. The natives don't care if we graduate early or not.

[More amused than anything, really. Day's game list is incredibly exhaustive: name it, it's probably in those boxes.]
