[The worst part about having all these off-worlder attacks? Was that Robin couldn't get a chance to go out there and fight alongside SeeD. He'd practically given up on going to class: he'd been here for over a year, he knew pretty much everything there was to know by now!

So instead, he's skipping class to ~~stalk~~ find potential recruits for the Disciplinary Committee. Although he might seem like he's lounging in the Quad with his comic books (steampunk pirates were so metaschway!!) or hanging out in an empty classroom, he's totally keeping an eye out for those who seem like they know what they're doing.

... That, and he really doesn't want to leave the Committee to freaking Impulse once he skips town. Desperate times are calling for desperate measures, and even though Robin hates to admit it, he needs all the help he can get.]

[When Shelke opens the door to the classroom she doesn't expect anyone to be there. After all , there had only been one other person who had spent time with her in there. In her arms, was a bundle of wires. An empty classroom is the perfect place to work.

When she spots Robin, the bundle almost falls. Thank goodness , she catches herself in time.]

Ah. I apologize. I did no realize anyone was in here...

[Robin shakes his head, carefully glancing over at the wires.]

It's okay.

... Um, do you want me to leave?

[ She sets the bundle down.]

You can stay. It is not my place to tell you to leave or stay.

...I was startled to see anyone here.

People don't usually come here, so... ["I can't blame you." He shrugs.]

What're you building?

[Oh hey look, it's a little white cat. Aren't cats banned from school gruonds? As someone from the disciplinary committee, you should do something about it.

Like return it to its owner and never mention it to anyone else.]

[Technically, he should confiscate the kitty. But at the same time, it's his favorite animal and... Robin doesn't hesitate to pick it up, checking carefully for a collar of some kind.

Wasn't this ahki's cat? He sighs, carefully hiding the kitten in his cape before heading towards Damian's room. For once, he's going to be a normal person and knock on the door.

He's tempted to just sneak in, but considering whose room this is? He just might get killed in the process.]

[Sneaking it would not end well for you, Bilal.]

Who else would it be? [He sighs, gently nuzzling Dusan. The poor kitty seems confused - this guy looks like Damian, acts like Damian, but doesn't smell quite like Damian - but seems happy enough to oblige the cuddling.]

[Opens the door.] What do you want?

It was loitering on school grounds. [rolls his eyes - not that it's easy to tell with his goggles - as he lets himself in.] Not sure how it got there, but better me finding it than the faculty.

First of all, Dusan is a "he," not an it. Treat him with respect. Second of all, I have no idea how he got out, because as you can clearly see, my door was closed.

[Right, right---Day'll remember that next time. He shrugs, carefully unwrapping the cape and letting Dusan roam free in the room.] I honestly don't care. I'm supposed to write up a warning or whatever - since I'm the new Disciplinary Committee leader and all that slag - but I'll let it slide.

[Mainly because he's STILL bitter regarding Headmaster Cid.] Just be sure your windows're closed too.

[Rolls his eyes.] They are.

Why are you in costume? And why are you wearing those ridiculous goggles?

I haven't been out of costume since Halloween. [Goes ahead and takes a seat.] And for the last time, they're more practical than those domino masks.

Riiiiiiiiiight [Might try to knock your goggles so they obstruct your vision.] And Grayson thought my hood was stupid.

[Just for that, Bilal's going to make even bigger faces.] Does your mask have x-ray and night vision? And the ability to hack into Garden's main---

[Pause.] Nevermind. You heard about the weirdos outside Garden, right?

Why would I give myself cancer? But yes, I enhanced the domino mask's functionality.

Yes. Why aren't we going to them instead of resting on our laurels?

[He's going to give up on the line of thought concerning his goggles and cut straight to the chase:]

It's more complicated than that. If Cadets went out to fight them, the world would think we're child soldiers... and for a world that already hates us, it wouldn't work out.

[He's slightly bitter - he WANTS to go out and fight, but the diplomat's son also understands Cid's reasoning behind it.] Granted, if you wanted to fight on your own, you could try that, but Garden wouldn't be sponsoring it.

... Plus, they've been fighting. Haven't you noticed? All of our teachers've been replaced with subs.

Who cares how old we are so long as we're qualified? You'd think that they would want soldiers to fight or what's the point at all?

And I wasn't referring to the "adults."

If you want to argue with Headmaster, go for it. Maybe you could figure out a way I couldn't. And um... I can't leave, even if I wanted to.

[Here, he sheepishly shrugs] ... I'm kind of the head of the Disciplinary Committee now. It'd set the worst example ever if I just up and left.

Tt, I don't know why I bother doing anything, since they obviously don't plan on letting me graduate anytime soon.

[Arches an eyebrow.] Why would you ever want to be a part of something like that?

Originally? To make Seifer's life a living hell. Now? Kind of because there's no one else on the Committee.

....

Technically, "Robin's" the head, so I guess you can share the title with me if you want.

Why in the world would I associate myself with that nonsense?

It's the closest thing to hero work I've seen since I got here. That reason enough?
