Dance of the Plum [ACTION]

[In the training center, there is a male with purple hair, looking as if he was dancing, but really practicing his sword swings.

Until you hear this melody come from his weapon. High slashes give off high notes, low slashes for low notes, and all else in between are thanks to fast movements and gliding the rainbow blade through the air to allow the notes to resonate.

He looks really into it.]

[Neku was in the Training Center today, attempting to figure out strange new weapons. Key word: attempting. He kind of wanted to go back to the magical pins. They were much lighter, for one thing; he couldn't even hit the trees, much less the creepish vine things that crawled around here, so he always ended up fleeing from them.]

[But he stops this when he heard music, high and whistling music, coming from somewhere else in the area. So he's just going to stand there, watch Gakupo, and listen.]

[Gakupo does a roundhouse when he notices someone, and almost falls on his face. Luckily, he just stumbles a lot. He clears his throat.]

Ah...was I disturbing you?

[Robin's not going to disturb senpai, especially since he looks really into it.

Still, the sight nearly distracts the kid from defeating Grats. Belatedly remembering to finish it off, he then slowly wanders over in Gakupo's direction and watches. Huh. Robin didn't even know swords could do that!]

[He forgot all about Grats, but he sees one inching towards him. With narrowed eyes, Gakupo breaks his melody to slash at it once, defeating it easily before going back to where he left off.]

[It's rather hard to hear footsteps over this music, so Gakupo stops abruptly, seeing a costumed youth behind him. He remembers that person from a while ago...]

I'm not doing anything. It's the way the sword was created.

[He has to remind himself that Gakupo doesn't know his secret identity. So Robin bites his lip, trying to be careful about what he says next:] Did you just buy it that way? Or did someone put a spell on it or something?

[Mikuru is actually elsewhere in the TC, but the music draws her to him, because she doesn't usually hear music in there. Woooow. She knew that as a SeeD Gakupo would have had training in some weapon, but she's never seen him in action.]

[A movement catches his eye, and he lunges for her, but stops abruptly once he realizes that it's Mikuru.]

...M-Mikuru! I'm so very sorry!

[Before he stops, though, Mikuru falls over backwards trying to dodge. Yes, she just fell over from sitting down.] I-it's okay! I was too close.
