has anybody heard anything about people going back home from here? or people ending up here from the same world you're from. my best friend's still at home

It's all right. Time won't go racing by back home so it means whatever I learn here I can use to protect my family when I get back. And in the meanwhile I've met some unforgettable people I'm very glad for.

I've been home, and come back.

As for people from your homeworld coming, don't hold your breath. It's not impossible, but I haven't seen someone from my world for over a year. And if someone does turn up, don't expect them to stick around.

It's fine. At least when an enemy showed up he turned out to be a decent, non-mass-murdering alternate universe counterpart, though his communication skills were about the same.

And no time had passed at all when I went home. It was pretty much business as usual, until Time Compression threw me back here.

I consider it a separate reality. It's just unfortunate that he had the same appearance and powers as the one I knew, I guess.

As for what happens... good question. It's hard to tell when it's just two months - you don't really notice if you've grown or whatever. I remembered being here, though.
