[action] Music Room
[Today if you happen to be walking around inside the Garden, you may hear the faint strains of music--someone, it would seem, is playing the piano. The first few notes are a little hesitant, but as it continues, the music grows more confident and smoother. It's almost as if the pianist once played quite often but is now just coming off of a rather long playing hiatus. Really, once the individual settles into his groove, he's quite good.
If you follow said music through the hallways, you'll find yourself at the door of the music room. Inside, you'll find Cid seated at the piano; it doesn't look like he'll mind if he ends up with an audience.]

Quistis doesn't want to intrude, so instead she stays by the door, peaking in as she spots Cid playing at the piano.]

Please, come in. [Another brief smile.] My apologies. I'm not being a nuisance, am I?
no subject
Oh, no, of course not. I've always admired those who are musically inclined. You play the piano beautifully.

When she passes by the music room and hears the rich sound of the piano, the temptation to stop and listen is too strong. She pauses and backtracks to the door, poking her shoulders in. Spotting Cid, the corners of her mouth curl up and she relaxes, letting herself lean fully against the door frame.
Her eyes flutter half-shut in appreciation. Almost despite herself, her body sways very gently to the music. ]

When the song draws to a close, Cid finally greets her.]
You look a good deal better now.
no subject
I'm feeling a good deal better, as well.
[ She walks over with a step so smooth it's almost a float--it could be a float--and pauses by the keyboard. Her eyes wander to the guitar cases. ]
May I join you?

Tom's gonna stop, silently walking inside the music room, and plops down in a nearby chair to listen.]

What a pleasant surprise this is.
no subject
Yeah? I guess so. I know I'm normally never in here.

so late and not even being interactive, what 8|
Hopefully, nobody catches her stopping to listen- the place has been pretty deserted since break started, right? Right. Leaning against the wall in the corridor, she flips through her bound files without really looking at them, caught somewhere between anger and... something else entirely. Nostalgia...? It's an odd mix, regardless. ]
dahahah 's all good |Db
Without any pink-haired interruptions, however, he finishes the song, letting the final notes hang in the air. At peace, Cid simply stays at the piano, hands still resting lightly on the keys; there's plenty of time for Claire to leave the area before he exits the room.]
