[Greece's paycheck may have been replaced by his sponsor's allowance, but that doesn't mean he's gotten any better at managing his money -- just because he's now serious about not accepting loans doesn't mean that he's going to stop buying whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

Of course, this usually consists of knick-knacks, puzzles, and food. Not only for him but for all the cats he keeps attracting, no matter how unintentionally, and there are a lot of cats.

But seeing as Garden is currently docked at Fisherman's Horizon... well, that means Greece is saving quite a bit by catching some cat-food rather than buying it.

Follow the cats and you can find Greece perched around town in the morning and evenings, invariably next to the water's edge with a tackle-box and a cooler -- and, naturally, a fishing rod.

He's not paying too much attention to it, though: some of the cats that surround him keep trying to crawl into his lap, no matter how often Greece pushes them back out in case he gets a bite and knocks them into the sea when he tries to reel it in.]

Shoo.

Hey, shoo... how will you eat what I catch if you go swimming instead?

Today was going to be a simple walk, maybe just chill down by the water and maybe go in at some point. You know, maybe... when no one was watching or anything.

But no.

There's a guy covered in cats trying to fish. What would be the odds of this? More likely than Eridan would have thought. Greece, it is a fine afternoon, isn't it? Fine enough for you to be stared at by this grumpy seadweller a couple feet away.]

[He moves in and picks one up carefully by the scruff of its neck.]

[...Greece likes that word, actually; he's just repeating it to keep it in mind. Eridan gets a curious look for the way he picked that kitten up: most people do it differently, but the kitten's gone limp, so Greece won't intervene.]

[His first instinct was to call it a Heartless and whack it with a sword, but fortunately that was well-controlled, and after a few seconds of watching he didn't see a red-and-black symbol anywhere on the animal's person -- which meant it was safe in that respect. Then he tried talking to the cat, thinking it was some other species, but it only looked at him for a moment before continuing on its way.]

[So Data Riku decided to simply follow the cat, and it led him all the way to Greece. (...Not that Greece, the other Greece.)] ...What're you doing?

[One would think that since his memories were of kids who lived on islands, he would know what fishing is. NOPE. Those guys are so hardcore, they catch fish with their bare hands.]

[Greece gives up on it for a moment to pick up a kitten and hold it out. It squirms a little, but otherwise doesn't cause any trouble.] Hold this.

[Eventually, Dataku reaches out and holds the kitten, jumping when it squirms. But eventually the little animal settles into his arms. Maybe Greece's presence mollifies it.] ...What's this?

[He thought it had to be some other monster native to Garden, like the ones in the training room. But then, why was it so docile?]

[Greece eyes him for a moment to be sure that he won't drop the kitten, before turning his attention mostly back to fishing.]

No, a Glameow is a Pokemon. We don't have cats back home. They're kinda like cats, though. Except.. I don't think cats are born from eggs. Glameows are.. well, so are all Pokemon.

Some people are born from eggs. But this depends on the egg... also, the story. A cat born from an egg isn't so impossible to hear of.

And most things put me to sleep. Not many of them are this easy to mind.

[Damian sort of sneaks up to the little gaggle of cats, trying to find his among them. He hadn't expected Dusan to suddenly leap out of his hood and tear off down an alleyway. Any remotely white cat the little ninja kid will be picking up and scrutinizing before putting them down.

[Greece is a little spaced out, so it takes a bit for him to notice Damian. He's just relaxing and periodically turfing more cats out of his lap -- one of which happens to be Dusan, who doesn't seem to be getting the message that he should find somewhere else to sit.]

[A few more crowd around David, curious about him and hoping for attention. Greece only notices his arrival belatedly when he decides to hunt around in the cooler for lunch and has to glance around to remember where he put it. He regards David with no surprise, as if he's yet another cat here for the fish.]
