[So in true Turk fashion, Cissnei is exploring the place. Having the map with you and following it isn't quite the same as actually knowing the layout, now is it? She's very impressed with Balamb Garden so far. Not that it doesn't quite get rid of all of her suspicions of this place, not just yet.

Just looking at the classes for a swordsman. It's gonna be a long quarter.

[ with a slight huff, he smooths the paper out and stares. ]

I suppose saying that I can last against Sephiroth won't let me get out of all these beginning classes.

I don't think people will even know who Sephiroth is here except for us.

[Cissnei sighs.] It's like training all over again. It's been a while since I've been through training.

[ Snorts as he makes a list. ] I made it to trooper training last time. Even then I sucked. I better not go through that again.

But we'll all be going through it regardless. [Cissnei peers over his list, twisting her lips a little bit. It looks a little messy to her. Then again, a lot of things look a little messy to her.] Do you even know what you're doing? You're all over the place!

Yeah, I know what they say. Doesn't mean that I will learn a new trick without some protests.

[ A slight smile as he said it. It was easy enough to poke fun at himself, even if the joke was slight to those that didn't know his sense of humor. ]

I have an idea... Some of these like Basic Training I just want to get out of my way, so I put a star by them. Some of them sounds interesting enough that I might take a lot at them, so they have a x by them. [ His notations were enough to make an accountant reach for a bottle of 7th Heaven's finest. ] Or was it the other way around?

[Cissnei gives him a look.] You're not very good at this, you know. You should probably organize it by quarters, then down to weeks. You might be able to clear out things that way easier and faster in the end.

I know. Organizing things just makes me itch. [ Too much like home, having to organize stuff. ]

I prefer to just stick things out by quarter.

Suit yourself, then. But trust me, you should do it that way. You're going to lose track of what you've already done.

[Cissnei looks out toward the Quad. It was a nice place, peaceful but not overly peaceful.] It's been a really long time since I've been in school too.

Nah, I'll make a different list of what I signed up for once I start this whole classes thing.

[ He can be organized, he just is rather haphazard about it. Cloud folded his papers up messily and shoves them in one of the many pockets of his pants. ]

It's really different than ShinRa, isn't it? This Garden... It seems a lot happier.

[Cissnei shrugs.] It seems that way. [Though Cissnei found her life as a Turk much happier than her life before it.] ShinRa was interested in itself, that's all.

Yeah. That's true. I doubt that if this had happened on the Planet, that anyone that came from outside would have been welcomed so easily by ShinRa, unless Hojo wanted to take them apart.

[ The scientist's name made him look down at the ground, fingers tightening a little. Cloud shook his head, and looked up at her. ]

Have you gone outside the Garden yet?

[Cissnei made no visible change in her demeanor, but mentally, she was seething. Hojo. All of his useless experimentation... all the lies... She pushes the thoughts away immediately and sits next to him. She looks out, observing idly the students and teachers passing by.]

No, not yet. But I want to take a good look at how this place seems to outsiders.

[ He tugged a blade of grass out of the ground and twirled it around his fingers. Sighing, he let it fall from his fingers. ]

I know. It does seem too good to be true, doesn't it?

It does. [And she has no reason to believe it's entirely true. No way it could be true... right?] We'll see how it goes.

I guess that's all we can do. See what this place will bring and make sure of a way out just in case.

Good plan. [Something a Turk would do. Good job, Cloud.] I can't say I've seen how tight security is around here though. We're among students and professors who can all fight.

A lack of a plan would only get me into trouble. [ He shrugs. He knows how he just tumbled headlong into things and hopes that he gets out of them, especially when it comes down to helping friends out. ]

The GFs they talk about... That's the unknown factor. It's almost like summons combined with enhancements using magical energies. I can handle a lot but I don't know what those things are capable of yet.

I can't say I understand how magic works here, not yet at least. It's not attached to materia like it was back home.

We have to take courses about those GFs, don't we? If we stick around long enough, we'll find out. [Not that she's not planning on doing her own research on those anyway.]

If they don't crouch it all under technical terms during the course. [ He is planning on researching it himself as well. He doesn't like the idea behind those things. ]

That's always a possibility. [She's used to that by now.] But enough people know how to use them, I'd say, if they're teaching us about those GFs.

It seems what makes these SeeDs different from the normal military. [ He shifted wrapping his arms around his knees. ] Sort of like mako making SOLDIERs.

[Cissnei doesn't answer. She should've thought of that, stupid, stupid Cissnei. She's on the fence as to whether she should learn about these things or not now.]

It might be different, it might not. We won't find out unless we look into these things beforehand.

Agreed. We can't step into this without first making sure about them.

[ What little he had read made him leery. His memories were screwed up enough for him to not want them to get messed with more. He was also pretty sure that he could handle most of their monsters without the added bonus of the GFs. ]

[And while Cissnei is more of a loner, finding things her way, she knew it was better for them to at least find out these things together.]
