I'm afraid there is no, as you so eloquently put it, "option B". Either you remain at the Garden and take what they give you or you wander out there in the world that would probably condemn you for whatever ability you've brought with you from home.

Depending on how odd you look, you could always try and pass as a native, but having attempted that myself and failed, I don't condone it, personally.

As distasteful as being here may seem to you, at least the people here are relatively kind and accepting. I'm fairly sure that even if you don't want to enroll as a Cadet, you can either get a job in the Garden, or even simply stay here. The Headmaster is a very kind-hearted gentleman.
