Okay, um. I think maybe something wasn't right with the medicine I took when I was sick a little while ago? I feel really good right now, actually, but it's only been a few days since I was let out and I've already broken a bunch of doors and some walls. And I'm not usually strong at all or anything...

Also, if anyone sees a burnt tree covered in ice...I think that was my fault too.

So, yeah. I think my medicine might've had something wrong with it.

[Later, Danny is fidgeting pretty seriously outside the building. He didn't want to go back outside, not after he got sick from all the germs out there, but staying inside was more hazardous to everyone else, given how many doors he'd broken. If he stayed inside any longer, he worried that he would bring down the foundations of the building and send the whole thing collapsing.

So now he stands on the grass, wringing his hands and glancing around impatiently.

Except for the bit where he suddenly finds himself floating 15 feet off the ground and rising.]

Oh--oh man! Um! Can--can somebody please help?!

((OOC: I'm still kind of slow, but I wanted to get in on this, so expect lots of backtagging here! Also, for the record, Danny's powerswapped with Superman.))

[What even- Clark reaches to grab Danny by the wrist, but he's already too far away]

[Thankfully, there is a tree nearby and Danny manages to grab onto a fairly sturdy branch, anchoring himself in mid-air. He's so high up, he has to shout just to make sure he's heard.]

Um. Hi!

...Hi? May I ask why are you flying? Are you alright...?

I don't know! I--I can't normally fly!

...How about you try to calm down? Envision yourself going down, try to feel gravity and focus on it.

[It usually works for him...]

I--I--right. Okay.

[It takes him a few minutes to calm his breathing and his mind enough to properly focus, but then--

Gravity starts working again, and Danny is left hanging haphazardly onto a tree branch. Until his weak arms give out and he falls to the ground, anyway.]

I don't know how the medicine here would do all those things. Can you think of anything else unusual that's happened?

How did that tree wind up covered in ice? And burnt? Did you burn it, or was it something else?

Okay, don't panic. Other people have been having trouble with strange things happening [like herself], so it's probably the same for you. A little more unusual, though. Try to figure out exactly what you did with the tree so it doesn't happen again! [THIS SEEMS PRETTY IMPORTANT.]

[Wait, so the guy's suddenly become lame again? Seeing the guy have a spine had been great! Zephyr's disappointed, but he's still just going to stand over here and watch him float in mid-air.

He waves and grins at Danny.]

Looks fun. Why bother comin' back down?

[Thank god for trees, because Danny grabs onto a branch to anchor himself before he addresses anyone on the ground.]

B-Because I can't control what's happening!

So you're just going to give up? Just like that? [He shakes his head.] Try harder. See if you can move yourself around that branch.

Wha--? But--but what if I can't get control?!

I never said to let go of the branch. Just keep your grip light, so you can still move around.

Oh. Oh. O-Okay.

[Which was probably a good idea anyway, since Danny is gripping the branch so hard that if he continues, it might snap off. He tries his hardest, and eventually succeeds, at loosening his grip on the tree branch.]

...But I'm still stuck up here.

[Jazz is carrying her books to the library, when she spots her little bro's clone, floating, and looking very lost and desperately needing a helping hand. She drops her books, grabs the nearest chair, and follows other!Danny.]

Danny, what are you doing?

I--I don't know! I can't help it!!
