has anyone seen Luxray? I can't find him anywhere. I'm really worried. If you don't know what Luxray looks like, he's bigger than a dog, blue and black with a yellow tip on his tail, and he has electric powers. He looks kinda mean too. Please tell me if you see him anywhere.

[Dawn is on the quad, sitting on a bench. It's starting to get late, so there really aren't too many people out besides herself. She's curled up in a ball, crying into her thighs. But you may find something a bit more out of the ordinary. Looming around her are strange.. things. A few dead looking flowers are floating over head, and a very ratty looking cat is sitting next to her, looking up at her expectantly with glowing yellow eyes. Behind her, various bugs are floating in the air. Cicadas, flies, bees, etcetera.

Dawn had been so cheery and happy when they had met her at first, and when Riku catches her like this, even though he doesn't know her well, something's wrong.

He stops beside her to squat down to her level, careful not to touch her with his hands. Who knows why he's casting Blizzagas left, right and center from his bare hands, but he's not about to hurt someone over it.]

[The mangy cat hisses at Riku and the various flying bugs begin to buzz, but Dawn tries her best to ignore them. Wiping her eyes to see who was there, she was more than a little surprised to see Riku, the boy she'd met the other day.

She smiled ruefully.]

O-Oh, hello, Riku. I'm sorry. I really shouldn't be crying in broad daylight.

[He only glances at the cat, ignoring the bugs, and looks back at her. The feline's eyes are strange, but it's not going to deter him.]

Do you remember Luxray? I can't find him anywhere. I can't even find his Pokeball..

[Most of her tears are gone now, but her eyes look pretty red. It's obvious she's been crying for a while.]

[She must have been close to her lion-like companion then, and a Pokeball must have been something from her world.]

Can't say that I have, although he doesn't look like the type to run away or get lost without someone noticing.

No, he really isn't. [pause. Dawn looks up at Riku, a little surprised.] You'd.. really do that for me? Um.. Okay. Sure.

Why not? [He's a bit surprised that's she's surprised. He would have thought that she would want some help.]

Well, where would you expect to find him here? Any places he really likes?

[She's not used to this 'help' thing. She usually does everything herself.]

Um.. usually wherever I go, really. He does like the training grounds, though.. I guess because it's the closest thing to the wild he's experienced in a while.

[Dawn stands up. The bugs, in turn, swarm behind her, and the cat, too, jumps off the bench.]
