I guess I should mention it here, just in case.

I got really sick, so I'm going to have to stay in the infirmary for a while. I don't know how long it'll be until I'm well enough to leave, but for now, I guess my teachers shouldn't expect me in class. Although if anyone can bring me the homework or notes from my classes, I'd be really grateful!

[Should anyone choose to come seeking Danny out, he can be found in the infirmary in a bed looking very, very exhausted, but not asleep. He has a book with him from the library to help pass the time, but right now it's closed and on his lap--he doesn't feel well enough right now to strain his eyes with reading.]

((OOC: Danny will be in the infirmary until August 20th-ish. He'll be available for action threads in the infirmary, but won't be able to leave or interact over the BBS, unless he gets a laptop or something. Thus, any responses over the BBS will not be replied to, but feel free to find him in the infirmary! (Laptop courtesy of Gavril, so he can respond via BBS now too!)

What happened? I'm surprised more people aren't sick here. I mean, you have to get all kinds of shots in my world just to travel from one continent to another at times. Our immune systems have to be going haywire having to deal with the new germs and bacteria we come across here.

Maybe. It's possible that it could have super charged our molecules and made it easier for it to identify foreign agents. Which in turn would make it easier to tackle the foreign agents, since jazzing up our molecules would jazz up our immune system.

[Quietly walks over to Danny in the infirmary, holding a balloon dog (because he has a ton of balloons still laying around). If Danny's being observant, he'll notice something sticking out of the back of Gavril's waist band.]

[Danny slowly turns his head when he hears Gavril's voice, looking just a bit surprised. He hadn't expected one of his teachers to show up--and certainly not with a balloon animal, of all things!]

O-oh...hi. Yeah, I'm...feeling pretty sick right about now.

[His voice is significantly hoarser than it usually is. He tries coughing to get the scratchiness out of his throat, but it...doesn't really help.]

With a soft knock near his bed, she ventures in with a steaming hot cup of tea. At his exhausted state, she frowns a bit -- but that comes out as more of a pout.]

Don't-- [his voice comes out raspy--so raspy, in fact, that it almost hurts to speak for a moment, so he gives up on trying to say what he means and instead shrugs. Either the nurse didn't tell him, didn't know, or he just wasn't paying attention when she mentioned it.

He coughs for a few moments, takes a few gulps of water, and tries speaking again.]

But...it usually lasts a couple of weeks. Two or three. Then I'm well enough to at least not have to be stuck in bed all the time.

Danny just stares at the notes for a few seconds before gingerly taking them in his own hands and looking at them. They're not even very good notes, but the fact that the other Danny actually came and gave them to him instead of calling him a clone again or whatever is more than he expected.]
