Today's your lucky day, Balamb Garden. The one and only Kid Flash has arrived. Like yourselves, I suddenly found myself here. At first, I was all "Dude, what even?!" You know how that hero thing goes. Places to be, people to save, hot chick that need are need of showing their admiration, and all that good stuff. Being here was definitely not in my plans.

But then I got a letter saying that some "Sorceress" [Adds in some air quotes]sent me here. Yeah, no. News flash for everyone who doesn't already know; sorceresses and wizards don't exist.It's all smoke and mirrors mixed in with some special technology. Speaking of special technology...

Who has two thumbs and works with the world's fastest hero, who is also a scientist and deals with future technology? This guy, right here. [Thumbs to himself.]

Point me in the direction of your scientists and I'll have you out of here in a flash.

Well, Grandma and Grandpa had kids and they went to the future where Mom and Dad had me. But I was growing too fast so Grandma brought me back to your time -- but later, I guess -- and you fixed it. And then you were a jerk so Max Mercury trained me.

I'm sure my future self has some good reason for being a jerk. I can't see myself being a jerk for no other reason than being a jerk.

Maybe the reason I don't like you is because of what happens here. Technically, I've now met you in my past. I'll remember this in the future or if our memories are messed with or whatever when we return home, I'll remember the feelings but not necessarily the thoughts that go along with them. So, if we get along here, it could potentially make things smoother in the future.
