SCENARIO ONE: CAFETERIA

[In-between classes, Cissie's situated herself in the cafeteria with a notepad, pen, and a couple of books. With titles like 'Dating for Dummies' and 'A History of Balamb Garden', it seems like she's doing more than just homework. Every now and then, she glances up from her work to look around - and maybe to get a soda or two.

This time, before getting some more food, she walks over to the nearest table and points a thumb towards her stuff:] Hey, could you look after my stuff for a moment? I wanna grab a soda.

Um... if you want, I could get you something to eat too! It wouldn't be a problem.

[Especially since cafeteria food these days've gotten a lot better. Now she actually doesn't mind going for seconds!]

SCENARIO TWO: BART'S ROOM

[Knock knock, Bart! Cissie's standing in front of his door with a freshly-baked batch of chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. She'll need the cookies - or so she thinks - to actually say what she wants to say this time.]

[There is a brief, uneasy look when she hears that...But Mitsuru blinks it away as quickly as it appears. Being a physician involves more then just sterile rooms and needles, after all; when she speaks again, it's half to remind herself of that.]

"It's a respectable career, and quite a versatile one. I can also commend your enthusiasm in pursuing it."

[Thankfully, Cissie pretends not to notice the uneasy look.] Thanks! And good luck to you too. It's not easy double-majoring, but I think you'll be able to pull it off just fine.

"Likewise, I think you'll do quite well in pursuing your major."

[Eye contact doesn't sound like the best of things right now...And, as luck would have it, she ends up looking at her notes again, and gets reminded why she's here in the first place.]

"Thank you for the meal. However, I should probably get back to my notes."

[Ah right! Cissie'd forgotten about her stuff this whole time...]

Of course... and I should get back to my stuff too. [She gives Mitsuru a polite nod before getting up and starting to head back to her seat.] It was nice meeting you, though!
