[Rose is in the training center, fighting some of the weaker monsters. she takes them down easily enough, but doesn't seem to notice or care that they're dead. she continues to pound into them, her face completely impassive as she inflicts greater and greater damage on their still forms. obviously whatever she's looking for from this fight wasn't present]

option b;

[some time later she's in the library, knitting furiously at something as she pours over a book. her focus is completely on the book, however, and she's oblivious to the fact that some of her yarn has rolled off the table and into the heavy traffic area of the floor. you'd better be careful, it's too easy to twist an ankle in this stuff and go down.]

I suppose so, though it's practically cheating with the cure magics here, eh? Not that I'm complaining. It would have been nice to have this in my world. Then we wouldn't have needed a team of scary nurses.

There's nothing cheating about making use of the tools given to us. That said, I can't say I mind one way or the other how I heal so long as the job is done correctly.

It's a delicate subject that requires intimate knowledge of people's reactions and the common causes of psychosis. An incorrect step could send your patient spiraling even further down than before they came to you.

I try not to psychobabble at acquaintances beyond keeping track of their behavior, as I find most people are rather put off by the idea that the person they're talking with is simultaneously diagnosing them and imagining several different options for treatment in their head.

Eh? Their loss I suppose. I think it'd be kind of fascinating to have someone in my head, but then most people around here capable of such just get a little freaked out when they accidentally do reach that level.

That's correct, although it's a bit more important than in other areas. There's no room for sloppy errors.

I can't say I've met anyone in that field before. Well, some of the okama come close. Although that might be more social engineering at work.
