Hello everyone!

It certainly is quite nice to be back.

For those who are new here, my name is Belle and I will be the new instructor for (CLI 101) Composition and Literature on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; (ENG 099) Understanding, Speaking and Writing English on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As of the moment, I am going through all the lesson plans and grade books to see where everyone is at, but rest assured things will be fine to progress come classes. If any questions are needed to be asked, please do not hesitate to seek me out or respond to this post with them.

I'm having troubles isolating a passage or sonnet that would be good for a marriage proposal.

[Belle is fine with that, surprisingly. Though she does not know him, she has an inkling he wouldn't ask if he didn't intend to use it and is quite happy to help!]

There are several that are truly lovely for a proposal. Here are some I have always found quite beautiful.

The passage from Romeo and Juliet might work, but I swear, I must have read through that 3 times and nothing stuck out.

I was thinking of a sonnet, but something from a play probably works better for her, and she's not really ah... fair tempered. More wild like a tempest. So then I was trying the Tempest but I had the same problem.

You are quite welcome! Sometimes it does take another point of view to fully see what you are looking for.

Some quotes of the Tempest spring to mind, if you would rather see to incorporate those:
