[So… this morning, there's a man at the training center.

Not really unusual, of course- even if it's probably a man that you hadn't previously met or seen before. He seems to be practicing with the nunchakus, expression switching between bored and determined. He isn’t exactly bad at them, and it’s obvious he’s used them before… but to the expert eye it’s obvious they aren’t his favorite choice of weapons. Well, he needs to rest from the guns sometimes doesn’t he? And he kind of likes the nunchakus anyway- exotic and they give him a lot of freedom to move around.

If he’s realized you’re there, he doesn’t show it. He doesn’t seem to be paying attention to anything anyway. You’d think he’d take the time to at least look around to see if anything has changed while he was back… but he’s apparently missed the training room more than anything else.]

Sup little birds, Jason Todd here. It’s been… a while so I guess I gotta introduce myself and all that jazz or. Whatever.

I’m going to be your introduction to weapons teacher- one of them, at least. Be good blah blah you know the deal. Seriously as long as you don’t bother me much I’m not going to bother you, either. You can call me Todd if you must, but I like my name so Jason is fine.

I guessssss that’s all.

OH and do not come to me with your problems. Seriously. I’m not your mom. Go bother somebody else.

[Dick is leaning against the wall, watching the other. Whether Jason actually knew he was there before or not isn't Dick's problem. It doesn't make any difference anyways.

[Damian had been sitting in one of the training areas many palm tress, trying (in civilian clothing) to get the gist of the whole stake out thing, learning just how to "be one with the surrounding area" or whatever nonsense Grayson had been spouting back home. Why the training center and not some place more heavily populated? Because it had things to punch when he got bored, mainly.

At first he was just going to leave the man alone with his practice, but the fact (well, in his opinion at any rate) he clearly didn't know what he was doing and the fact he couldn't shake the feeling the guy looked familiar made him change his mind. Without further thought, he hopped right out of the tree to confront him.]

[He might not be doing it perfectly by Damian's standards, but he's still pretty fast. As soon as Jay notices the movement out of the corner of his eye he adopts a defensive position to face him. ...Which quickly drops when he sees it's just (as far as Jay knows for now) a kid, and now he mostly looks annoyed that he'd patronize him.]

[Because he takes one step into the training area, ready to get some practice in (the fight with Damian showed what parts weren't up to snuff as usual) and he didn't expect anyone else to be there.

Especially Jason. He tightens his hand on the bo staff. This was a week filled with both ups and downs.]

[Tim interrupts Jay in the middle of a movement, so he takes a while to reply- or to even look at him. He slides the nunchuck under his arm before he does-

and then he just. Stares. Because suddenly talking to the guy he's been practically stalking since he found out he was replaced as Robin feels kind of. Well, weird.]

I hardly think they'll go to you for that particular discussion, but if they are having an issue with something, you could at least be honest that you don't know how to deal with it instead of shooing them off like they're not worth your time.

[Tom watches Jason for a while before clapping and jumping right into the fray beside him. Granted, Tom's still in human form, so he's not at full strength, but he's capable enough with his bracers.]
