[As he's in the running for Homecoming Prince and Damian told him to start campaigning, Aang is standing in the middle of the quad with a box of fresh-baked cookies. He's introducing himself to everyone who gets close enough and anyone with the patience to hear him out gets a cookie and his undying gratitude.]

Ah— pretty good, so far. I've got a lot of posters and stuff up.

[Runs into the Quad with another two batches of cookies! Damian's even got his little apron on, though he does look slightly more frazzled as he hands the boxes over. Between living in the infirmary and baking god-knows-how-many cookies, his life's been nothing short of stressful.]

Hey, Damian. Thanks. [He takes the additional cookies gratefully.] The cookies really seem to be working.

[Then he looks him over, apron and all.] Are you okay?

Huh? Yeah, I'm fine. [He doesn't look like it, thanks to the bags under his eyes, but he'll manage.] The last batch's in the oven, so we're good to go.

Hmm? [Looks at the boy with an arrow on his head. Is that some sort of new trend? Ugly.

Oh, this boy is the other candidate? Grell's gears are turning. Time to put her plans into action.]

Um, yes, ma'am. [Aang has only run into Grell a couple times during his time at the Garden, but each time, he's felt the need to stand up straight and look his best. Like now.] I'd appreciate it if you could vote for me, please? [He offers a nervous smile.]

She peers at his cookies and smile. Hmph. Nothing special about him except a high dose of awkward cadet.]

Damian! Are you okay? [Aang had just seen Damian a few hours ago, so this is seriously surprising. He's not even going to mention the cat or the sudden ignorance about Homecoming.]

[Oh. He hadn't been expecting that question.] Actually, I'm not entirely sure. But there's a dance and you vote for people to be king and queen and stuff like that. [He at least sounds enthusiastic about that.]

[Max is checking about the Quad, still in explore mode, though thankfully she's gotten her classes together. This place is about the size she thought and, not for the first time, she's grateful she decided to hack the directory. As she walks along, she notices Aang and overhears his introduction. This kid is something else! With a grin, she approaches.]

[This is where Zuko approaches from behind, awkward and hesitant, managing to catch what Aang's been saying to everyone that passes him. He and Katara still plan on surprising him with one of the cats, they just ... haven't gotten around to it yet. And the night where Damian had broken into his room to talk to him about Aang and his feelings...]

[One of the first times talking to his monk friend in a while. What better way than to wish him luck on his nomination! And show his support and... and yeah!]

[When Aang hears a voice he recognizes from behind him, he hesitates to turn around and reply. He's just gotten over his sulking period, but that doesn't mean he's over the idea of Zuko and Katara being together.]
