Greetings once more. Before, I have asked you about the heart and friendship. Today, I give you a change of pace.
How is it you decide someone is your enemy? Why is it that you humans are so easily consumed by hatred and desperation? So much negativity, you truly make it easy enough for me to feed. And all of that darkness... It truly is hard to keep from devouring some poor soul's heart. But that's another topic altogether. I digress.
Why are you humans so full of such negative emotions as opposed to positive emotions? It seems almost detrimental to survival.
[[OOC: School staff with the access, feel free to put a name to ID#, if that's possible, to get on to him.]]

Humans may be overwhelmed by many emotions, including love, or happiness. It is hardly exclusive to despair and sadness, as you seem to believe.

If they get into the habit of repeating it, then they stay my enemy. If they call it quits, they're not, but that doesn't mean I have to start liking them.

Well, for one thing, it isn't just humans who can be consumed by emotions. Nearly all beings, despite their species, are susceptible to their feelings. It's not necessarily a bad thing, to feel, though at times in concerns of negativity it can be.
As for enemies... Personally, I try not to make them! Not much fun, fighting with someone all the time out of anger and the likes, now is it? Friendly rivals, learning along side each other and testing one's strength against one another, is much more preferable.
If I must find an enemy in a situation... it's typically one doing harm to others, with the others having no means to fight back themselves.

This concept of "friendly rivals" interests me. Can you tell me more?
[He doesn't mean to be depressing. To him, these thing are simply questions and facts--data and nothing more.]

Well, let's see, now.
Friendly rivals is where you undoubtedly do have a rival, but the sole purpose isn't to just defeat him. Yes, you do want to win, no one can fault that, but it's more than winning. You have no intention to eliminate them horribly, wanting to learn from each other and find ways you can both better or help yourselves and each other. There is often a mutual admiration to be had, when one another succeeds.
Essentially, it is just how it sounds. Though you compete, you are still friendly towards one another.

with emotions often running rampant and serving as a negative influence upon our judgement
as it appears that my sister or her alternate counterpart anyway has told you
its much easier for people to give into despair than to steel their resolve and keep fighting
despite all that ive faced along my way i will never give in
