hi everyone! i just figured out how to make my text colored. pretty, huh? anyway i never posted on this thing except one time but i think i finally figured it all out. i could read on it for class and stuff but it took a lot of poking around to find out how to talk to everyone on it. so hi!! i'm vanille in case you were wondering. nice to meet you all. i hope we can be friends! i don't know if you heard but someone said i should be homecoming princess! that was really nice of them... but i guess now i have to make my own banners too! i made some for grell and bulla already but i never thought i'd have to make some for me! but since it was so much fun the first time it can only be more fun now, right? i'm really excited about it! if anyone wants to help i'm going to go get supplies to make them later so we can do that! i'll bring some cookies or something! i'll need help hanging them up too. oh and someone told me about a place in the training center i want to check out. they said it was a secret! i'd never seen it before and since its a secret i don't know where it is. does anyone wanna show me? they said it was a good place to get action at... if i find it i bet i could show it to fang! she'd probably like it, not that there aren't enough monsters to fight as it is huh? but more action is never a bad thing. well thats it i think. um i guess i should say please vote for me! it would make me really happy. i wish i could vote for everybody... bye now!! SCENARIO A

[ Much like before nominations, you will find Vanille in the lobby, sprawled over yet another large banner— this time yellow with bright, pink, glittery lettering, coloring furiously and painting little shapes all over it. It reads: 'VOTE FOR VANILLE.' Or, maybe she's done, and she's trying to hang the banner in one of the various corridors or hallways. There are also several other posters laying half-finished... Clearly, she has a lot of work on her hands (as well as a good amount of glue, and by proxy, glitter).

Beware, if she sees you walking by? She's asking if you'd like to help. But at the very least, not far from where she's seated, there's a plate of what looks to be brownies sandwiched between cookies, so the work would not go unrewarded! ]

SCENARIO B

[ For the past few days, Vanille was most likely found, if not in class or in her dorm or at lunch, in the training center. But, it doesn't look like she's training. No, instead, she seems to be looking for smething. For what is a little unclear by just looking at her. Of course, anyone who's seen her post on the BBS might have an idea or two why it is she's snooping around like she is. She's looking for something.

The secret spot. So far, it's eluded her, but she's determined to find it! ]

( ooc: Feel free to hop in either scenario or just respond on the BBS! Also if you'd like to make plans to meet her to show her where the *~*secret spot*~* is, we can have them meet up. )

[Of course Seifer's following. And quite possibly admiring (aka checking her out). He rolls his eyes and casually trudges along.]

By all means-- lead the way.

[ Wow, Seifer... Wow. She does just that, though, taking a few steps into the main room of the training center, where the path branches, before turning to look to him again. ]

Ah, which way? [ Even if it goes in a circle, one way is obviously quicker, right? ]

[His eyes are kind of lingering downstairs if you get what I'm saying, and they lift up as she turns around. He shrugs a shoulder and taps Hyperion against it.]

Whichever way you want.

[ Whichever way? Maybe it's in the center, then? But she'd looked all over there! Well... She'd gone to the right pretty much every time she'd explored, so... Left it was. ]

Okay! Just make sure to tell me when we're close.

Heh. Will do.

[Follows behind like a creeper.]

[ Creeeeeeper.

She walks through the door and immediately starts peeking around— both for monsters and secrets! She's depending on him to speak up, but, if she finds it first, it's no big deal, right? ]

[No biggie at all. He's still following along, probably snorts to himself as he watches her peek around, somewhat amused.]

[ Hey, if you're not doling out directions, she's going to have to look for herself! Though it makes her wonder why he'd even offer to show her if he's not going to offer directions and make her look on her own, anyway. ]

So... Is it near here?

Keep goin'. Further up.

[Seifer gestures with Hyperion.]

Further... Ah?

[ She follows where he's pointing with the weapon, and nods, starting back that way again. She'd thought for a moment maybe he didn't know where it was... But, from the looks of things... ]

Over here? [ She was surprised they hadn't run into any monsters just yet... But maybe that was a good thing. They'd need to save their strength for the good ones in the secret spot! ]

Sure. [He shrugs and follows along, glancing off to the left at the faint rustling of bushes. His grip tightens on Hyperion-- it's been a while since he'd come into the Training Center to fight anything.]

[ She hears it, too, pausing and turning to look herself. There was something in the bushes, probably... They could try running away, but, from the looks of things, he might want to deal with it a little more upfront. ]

Ah— you wanna take it? I'll back you up!

[Seifer's never been known to really run from a fight either...]

I'll take it when it shows up. Unless you wanna go hoppin' around in the bush... be my guest.

Mm... No thanks. [ Hopping in the bush? No problem. Hopping in the bush when there is clearly something in there? She'd rather not.

She'll just resume poking around until Mr. Monster decides it's time to pounce. ]

Heh. Your choice.

[She can poke around all she wants, Seifer will trail along in amusement. Until! Insert battle theme music here! More rustling from the bushes and then three Grats shuffle forward into view, vines waving in the air.]

[ Color her shocked! ]

There were that many in there?! [ HOW DID THEY FIT AND WHAT WERE THEY DOING??

Anyway, she just decides to prepare herself, pulling out her rod! ]

You aren't scared, are you?

[Smirking Seifer brings up Hyperion as one of the grats shoots forward one of its vines, blocking with the flat of his gunblade while the two quickly shuffle towards Vanille.

Three grats overall should be child's play, as long as they don't run into a t-rexaur!]

Of course not! I was just... [ She was expecting one or two. ] Startled! That's all.

[ She takes a few steps back as the grats advance on her, and she swings her rod out, latching onto one before pulling the lines back, damaging it. ]

You were scared. No need to lie.

[He ducks away from a swinging vine and knocks off another with his arm. The grat gives a screech and tries again with a swift attack, curling the vine around Seifer's forearm. But that's okay, he's able to use Hyperion to hack it off, spinning in a flare of his coat to slice the grat itself along the front, its screams carrying in the Training Center.]

I wasn't..! [ Meanwhile she's having to hop away and try to keep dodging the vines swinging at her, weapon not exactly made to chop off swinging vines. She almost topples over at one point, bracing her hand against the ground before pushing herself back up and casting a fire spell at one of them. ]

Leave me alone, you—!

Heh. Color me surprised. You look like you can handle your own after all.

[With his grat now gone he blocks another swiping vine with the flat of his gunblade and takes a step back before casting Fira the other grat, the fiery orange and yellows swirling at his palm before unleashed.

Better to get it out of the way now.]

Wouldn't be here if I couldn't, right? [ That was kind of an insult— but she'll just go ahead and take it as a compliment! She hits the remaining grats with a one-two punch of fire spells before they, too, follow after the first.

Nodding, satisfied, she collapses her rod again, placing her hands on her hips. ]

That wasn't so bad!

You won't say that when you piss off a Rexaur.

[Hyperion goes back up to rest against his shoulder and this time Seifer moves past her to take the lead.]

They that bad? I don't think I've actually seen one, yet. [ Are they in the secret spot? Maybe that's why!

And she follows along behind, probably a little too cheerfully. ]
