04 ☀ BBS/ACTION [ all over the place ]

hi everyone! i just figured out how to make my text colored. pretty, huh? anyway i never posted on this thing except one time but i think i finally figured it all out. i could read on it for class and stuff but it took a lot of poking around to find out how to talk to everyone on it. so hi!! i'm vanille in case you were wondering. nice to meet you all. i hope we can be friends! i don't know if you heard but someone said i should be homecoming princess! that was really nice of them... but i guess now i have to make my own banners too! i made some for grell and bulla already but i never thought i'd have to make some for me! but since it was so much fun the first time it can only be more fun now, right? i'm really excited about it! if anyone wants to help i'm going to go get supplies to make them later so we can do that! i'll bring some cookies or something! i'll need help hanging them up too. oh and someone told me about a place in the training center i want to check out. they said it was a secret! i'd never seen it before and since its a secret i don't know where it is. does anyone wanna show me? they said it was a good place to get action at... if i find it i bet i could show it to fang! she'd probably like it, not that there aren't enough monsters to fight as it is huh? but more action is never a bad thing. well thats it i think. um i guess i should say please vote for me! it would make me really happy. i wish i could vote for everybody... bye now!! SCENARIO A

[ Much like before nominations, you will find Vanille in the lobby, sprawled over yet another large banner— this time yellow with bright, pink, glittery lettering, coloring furiously and painting little shapes all over it. It reads: 'VOTE FOR VANILLE.' Or, maybe she's done, and she's trying to hang the banner in one of the various corridors or hallways. There are also several other posters laying half-finished... Clearly, she has a lot of work on her hands (as well as a good amount of glue, and by proxy, glitter).

Beware, if she sees you walking by? She's asking if you'd like to help. But at the very least, not far from where she's seated, there's a plate of what looks to be brownies sandwiched between cookies, so the work would not go unrewarded! ]

SCENARIO B

[ For the past few days, Vanille was most likely found, if not in class or in her dorm or at lunch, in the training center. But, it doesn't look like she's training. No, instead, she seems to be looking for smething. For what is a little unclear by just looking at her. Of course, anyone who's seen her post on the BBS might have an idea or two why it is she's snooping around like she is. She's looking for something.

The secret spot. So far, it's eluded her, but she's determined to find it! ]

( ooc: Feel free to hop in either scenario or just respond on the BBS! Also if you'd like to make plans to meet her to show her where the *~*secret spot*~* is, we can have them meet up. )

[ NO ONE CAN RESIST THE CALL OF COOKIES. ]

[ True enough! She can later be found working on several large-ish posters in the downstairs lobby. ]

[He walks down to the lobby, spotting Vanille almost immediately. He waves.]

Hey, Vanille.

Sazh..! [ And she spots him as soon as he calls her name, abandoning her post to run over to him and give him a hug! ]

[He gives her a quick hug back, before pointing in the direction of her posters.]

That's what we're working on, right?

Yep! That one, and... Those... [ She points to another stack of posters...

She has a lot of them. ]

[Well, snap. She does. Sazh gives a little sigh as he scratches the back of his head.]

Well, let's get started. [He starts looking around for a marker.]

[ And she stoops down and hands him one! ] Here you go!

[ And then she's back to her place, turning the poster around so he can get at it, too. ] I just need to finish coloring in the letters on this one. Then it'll be done.

All right. [He slowly crouches down onto the ground so he can get in on some coloring action.]

[He points at the marker.] You sure want these letters this color, right? I don't want you to go changing your mind after I've already started filling it in.

[ Such a good dad, Sazh!

She nods, already at work coloring one of the other letters in the same color. ]

Nope, I'm not going to change it! That's the color..!

All right. I'll get started on this, then.

[He leans down, although a bit clumsily due to being an old man and all, and begins to color in the letters. He's extra careful, though, and making sure to stay perfectly in the lines. After all, he doesn't want to mess up Vanille's poster.]

So, how've you been? We haven't had much time to talk since the Fire Cavern.

[ And quite a bit has happened, since then! ]

We really haven't, now have we?

[He pauses in his coloring to look up at her and shrug.] I've been busy grading papers and planning lessons. What have you been up to?

Nope. We haven't! [ And it's a shame too, considering Sazh is one of her very favorite people in the whole world-! Along with the rest of her family, of course. ]

Doing homework... [ A whine. ] And making posters, too! I made a lot of the ones Grell and Bulla are using, too. [ After all, she didn't have any idea she was going to be nominated to be Princess! It was a bit of a shock. Now she just wanted to try her best to win. ]

And going to the training center a lot... [ To find the secret place with the strong monsters... ]

It didn't seem like it would be, but life is pretty busy at Garden, huh? But... It's busy in a good way, not a bad one.

You do sound pretty busy. Make sure you don't overload yourself, now. [He gives her a stern look, although it isn't entirely serious.]

It is. And you're right about it not being bad. I get tired of going through papers though.

[ She giggles at your sternness, sir! ] I'll be fine! [ She has plenty of energy to spare! Though, lately, her sleeping habits have been a bit bad... But she's having fun, so, who is she to complain? ]

You should just take a break every once in a while! Go for a walk or something like that..?

Or help color posters and eat cookies— oh! Speaking of which—

[ She'll just reach behind her for a bag, reaching inside to pull out— ta-da! A bag of cookies. ] Help yourself!

[He nods.] Hey, none of those are a bad idea.

[And as Vanille pulls out the bag of cookies, the chicobo takes it as a cue to tumble out of his hair and towards Vanille. Sazh smiles at that.] I think that's his way of saying he'd like a cookie.

[ Vanille giggles and opens the bag, pulling out a cookie and breaking it into half before leaning down to offer it. ] Here you go! You can have the other piece once you're done with that.

[The chicobo happily takes the cookie in its beak.] Don't give him too much now.

He's been eating too many sweets lately.

No such thing! [ But she will still be careful not to give him too many. One is really enough for someone his size. ]

That's what all kids say.

[ Mock-pouting. ] You're not calling me a kid again, are you?

Well, you're not exactly an adult yet, yeah?
