1st Petal- Action | Arrival | Library
[Complete quiet and warmth were the first things that met him when he came to. Opening his eyes was almost too hard a task. He could not remember a time when sleep had been so peaceful. It was sort lived, however. Yuu’s heart skipped a beat when his eyes focused and he didn’t recognize his surroundings.
He was quick to slip out of bed and hide between it and the wall. He took a quick peak over the mattress, hoping no one had seen him. Where was he? None of the Order’s rooms he’s been to had the attributes this one possessed. It didn't help that the last thing he remembered before waking was cold and two figures looming over him. A voice, deep and raspy, was chanting something in the background, but besides that, nothing was clear enough to give him the slightest clue as to what happened.
Yuu waits in his hiding spot for a couple of minutes before he, ever so quietly, made his way to the door… Which had no handles. Before he could question said door, it opened once he approached it enough and, not questioning why, left his room.
His first thought was to find Alma (if he was even there) and get out before they were taken back.
The surroundings that met him were unlike anything he’s seen before. The overall feel, the way it was lit and even the smells were different.
Wherever this place was, it wasn’t the Order.
After a while of hiding from the occasional passer-by and searching, Yuu stopped when he arrived to what looked like a library. A bit overwhelmed by his current situation, alone, tired and hungry, Yuu sat down at a lonely corner, tucked his knees close to his chest, and hid his face in his arms.]

Which is why he has five books all open and spread out among the table he's using. That didn't mean he wasn't aware of the situation around him, though. Seeing someone sit in a corner like that wasn't something normal.
Getting up from his seat, he went and crouched down near the other kid.]
Hey, are you okay?
no subject
Was he like him?]
I'm fine.
[Yuu was never one for words and was an expert at making things awkward quite fast. Killing conversations was also a strength of his.
Before returning to his brooding- because he was NOT going to cry- Yuu looked him up and down in a calculating way.]
Where am I? Who are you?
no subject
I'm Tim. And you're in Balamb Garden. It's a school in a different universe then the one you're probably from.
no subject
Maybe he will pay closer attention next time he's told something.
All he can do is blink slowly at Tim. The concept not completely grasped.]
So I'm not in the Asian Branch but in the Garden Branch of the Order and you call it school?
no subject
I don't know what the Order is, but I'm certain it's not a part of it. You are not home. You're in a completely separate world.
no subject
"I'm not home."
[A completely dumbfounded statement. The idea of being completely separate from any kind of branch official or place was a bit too much to take in. It was a thought he oft entertained but did not completely embrace because it was impossible.
Yuu stood up slowly and looked carefully at Tim's eyes as if to assert he wasn't being lied to.
His face immediately lit up.]
"Then, do you know if my friend is here!?"

Rough day?

Yuu flinches upon touch, completely caught off guard, and looks up at the girl. It wasn't common, but not unheard of, to have a branch personnel be so young. He had never seen her before, though.
He frowns and mumbles angrily while looking away from her. It pissed him off when they tried to sympathize.]
Why do you care?
no subject
Because it's not common for people to hide here? Especially since it's not finals week. [bites her lip] I mean... if you want me to leave you alone, I guess I could.
no subject
[He looks back at her then down at his feet. Maybe he shouldn't be so rude towards someone that could possibly help him out of this one.]
I don't know where I am or what is this place.
[Or what happens during finals week, for that matter...]
no subject
[Explaining usually got easier after the second or third time, but it still hasn't come easily to Gabriella by now.] And the room you're in right now's our Library. You fond of studying?
no subject
[Incredibly difficult to take in but it'll just have to do. Well that was just his luck. He escapes from one shithole and falls into another. It felt a bit better to learn he wasn't the only one this time. Back in HQ he was being tested in order to become a soldier of God and now this place... In any case, he was being trained to kill either way.
On that note.]
Have you killed anyone, yet?
no subject
Walks over to him, standing about an arm's length away before kneeling. No use in towering over the other.]
Are you alright?
no subject
He glares at the approaching figure and is completely caught off guard by the question.]
What?
[Is all he can really say. The Asian Branch personnel were nice but that's because that's where he was made. Wherever this place was, there was no reason why they would treat him the same way.]
no subject
no subject
I'm fine.
I was just trying to be alone. [He should know better than to lie but he didn't want to admit that he was utterly lost.]
no subject
You might want to try your own room, then.

[Walking over she crouches down to get a closer look at him.]
Hello you. I don't think I've seen you around before, are you okay?
no subject
How... do you know my name?
no subject
What do you mean how do I know your name? I don't. [She stops then, thinking over what she'd said just before then.] Wait, is your name You?
[What were the odds? It's not like she could have known.]
no subject
What do you want from me?
no subject
[Such a frowny little guy, but she's not about to let that bother her.]
backdated to the nth power
Not skipping a beat Alma bolted from the couch, an envelope falling from his lap, unnoticed and forgotten. He needed to find Yuu! Finding out where he was in the Order was set on the back burner for now.]
Yuu? Yuu!
B1
He was finally left alone to his own thoughts. The many rows of book cases towered over his form like the columns in the facility. He didn't miss that place one bit, but waiting here and hoping that idiot would show up, was proving to be disheartening.
If his eyes stung, he didn't notice. All he knew is that he felt terribly lonely in this place full of people.
Someone called to him-- Yuu looked up and stood quickly, almost enough to lose his footing and took into a sprint.]
Alma? [His voice fail him so he repeated with urgency]
Alma!? Alma! I'm here! [Yuu weaved through the rows trying to spot his friend.]
<3
Already he was in tears.] Yuu!
