[Marco has gotten used to a full workload, so this semester, having precipitously less means that he has too much time on his hands. Sure there's the usual "productive" things like club activities or working on methods to keep his family alive when he gets back home, but a pirate has to chill out and have fun. Thus one morning finds Marco hanging around the ceilings, trying to perch upside down like a fail bat. Or maybe a blue ninja. Friends might get randomly dropped upon (for his amusement) but as for the rest, well does anyone ever really look up? If they do, they'll see a half-phoenix, half-blond man chilling out, and getting dizzy. Pro tip: phoenixes are not meant to perch upside down for long periods of time. Or maybe ever. Moral of the story: Leave it to the bats.]
Well, at least I know my claws are strong enough. [Stifles a yawn, this makes him sleepier than it should.]

Stealth is usually the opposite of how I operate. Explain away.

Can you see where I was when I spotted Marco-san? [when Marco looks there
Japan's going to get into his position on the ceiling. SO LOL YES HE'S NOT GOING TO SAY HOW HE GETS UP THERE...]
no subject
[Glances and then zoom, Japan's invisible :O] What the? [Glances up.] That was fast.
no subject
That is the idea. As a true ninja, I could have assassinated Marco-san while his back was turned, as well.
no subject
No, you couldn't have.
[Jumps and flips to try to grip back up onto the ceiling.] I thought you were the governmental type anyway, eh?
no subject
...Is that so?
[BUT MOVING ON]
I am not sure what you mean by that. I am a country. Many things fall into my area.
no subject
Oh, all right. Have you had to assassinate many then? [Asked SO casually.]
no subject
Yes. Countless numbers.
no subject
Oh? Countless, eh? [That might be a slightly scoffing tone. He's even hanging his arms behind his head, all upside down and dangling.]
no subject
Living so long, it is difficult to avoid that sort of thing. [While he looks 18 yes he can say this..]
no subject
Understood.
no subject
It doesn't last long without him reaching a hand around to his back in an over-exaggerated manner.]
Ah, really? That is good then.
no subject
Some species are just like that, eh?
no subject
T-that bird was you?!
no subject
Why, whatever do you mean?

STARING SO MUCH]
Ah... that...

I am growing too old for this...

And that phoenix thing HE SWEARS HE SAW IT]
Just how old is Marco-san?
no subject
But there was no other way to prove myself to the headmaster, and I needed the classes on this world's geography and politics first.
no subject
Yes, I recall that. ...I assumed that I would need to use my physical age, so...

no subject
How old I appear, that is. What would Marco-san think by appearance?
[He looks 18... or 19...]
no subject
Eh, young enough I suppose, still an adult. About like Ace only no freckles to throw it off, so eighteen or so?
