Homecoming is nothing but a popularity contest, really. The more popular you are, the higher your chances of being nominated and snatching up that crown!

It helps to be physically appealing to the eyes. Such shallow people abound.

Humans get quite creative when they have nothing better to do. At least it seems fun.

I must admit, I can't really use my grace as I'd like to it's fullest extent. This contest seems to have less than a two month shelf life. Grace takes time to make sure its full effect works on the lesser population, and to rush it is like willing a flower to bloom before its time. It's also unfortunate for you to see me in such a state I'm not usually in. My apologies. My poise and dignity has gotten me this far after a year, so now it is the time to take action.

I do hope you don't think ill of me for my campaign strategy. I won't take offense if your support is offered elsewhere. It would have been an honor to have it.
