The Time Compression is an event that happened simultaneously twenty-years ago and in the future. For some reason, it has caused some of us who are from different worlds to enter this one here. I'm afraid we're not exactly sure who or what has caused this, dear...

[She leans a bit closer, getting down on Homura's level.]

However, you're not alone in this, alright? Nearly everyone here at the Garden is here due to being sucked here from our world.

Yes. Some come from the same worlds, some from the same worlds but different times and there are plenty from all different worlds in general.

[A pause. THAT SAD FACE ;; Botan rests a reassuring hand on the little cadet's shoulder.]

I'm not... There are not that many ways to differentiate what world one is from, I'm afraid. There are plenty that are similar. I've come across quite a few knowing of the country I was born in -- Japan -- but are still not from my own world. Is there someone you're looking for in particular? I might know of them.
