[Those out in the training center are in for a surprise today. Instructor Dragonsblood, who's been strangely reclusive for the past while, is absolutely tearing through anything and everything that gets in his way. However, while this itself may be perfectly normal, the instructor himself certainly isn't.

There's a half-crazed look on Kurt's face, his hands constantly clenching and unclenching around the hilts of his weapons. He's grinding his teeth as well, and his breath is coming in heavy, struggled gasps.]

Damn it all...

[This was the worst time for a Cadet to appear! And a young one, at that. Kurt immediately puts some distance between him and Link.]

[Of course not. He's got a death-white grip on his weapons (well, would, if you could see his hands through his armor) and speeking through gritted teeth.]

[Ronnae was sitting on one of the rocky formations in the training center, head tilted back as she drank from her bottle. She was taking a nice relaxing break from her training, part of her armor off and her weapons to the side, before she noticed the disheveled elf. She blinks a few times before leaning forward from her spot.]

You alright?

[It takes a minute for Kurt to register the orc. Someone... from home? No. Maybe? He'd never seen her. Here? He couldn't know.

He sets his teeth and speaks with an extremely controlled voice.]

Have. You heard. Of Death Knights?

[The half orc girl eyes him curiously but nods slowly.]

Of course. Why do you ask tho?

I am. One. [Half-gestures at the glowing blue eyes.]

I can't. [A pause, gritting his teeth.] Everyone here. Are friends. There's nothing to. Kill. The hunger is chewing at me.

Yeah? I can tell. [She replied still curious as to what he meant, and then she realized what it was.]

Plenty to slay here I guess. And isn't this world in strife as well? Why not go on a mission then?

[He shakes his head again, hissing between his teeth.]

[And that... pretty much smashes any control Kurt had. He bares his teeth at Grell, lunging forward and swinging down with a surprising amount of strength.]

[Ask and ye shall receive goes the old saying. So now Grell feels a heat come over her body, making her grit her teeth at the change in body temperature while barely dodging the strike.

BZZZZZZ

Moves to slash at his swinging arm, intent on severing it.]

My, you're so relentless~! You shouldn't be so rough so QUICKLY.

[The chainsaw scrapes against and partly through Kurt's armor, but the elf is quick, and avoids the severing. The blood on the chainsaw immediately freezes, Kurt digging his hand into the new wound to throw frozen shards at Grell's face.]

[The chainsaw freezes and stops, but there is little time to think over what in Hades just happened as ice shards are thrown at her FACE. Turns her head in time to miss the majority, but some manage to cut her face.

Stumbles to the side, touching her now bleeding cheek. There is also a gash above her eyebrow that is bleeding. Pulls her hand away, green eyes so focused on the shade against her pale skin.

This is no time to admire blood.

This is a time for RAGE]

...my face...MY FACE!

[Tosses away her DEATHSCYTHE and takes out her chain whip, junctioned with Fire. Grell looks quite serious now. She hardly ever uses her whip, let alone para-magic.

It doesn't mean she won't, and is unable to.]

I'LL MAKE YOU PAY! [Casts Protect on herself before whipping her arm above her in a circular motion before flicking her wrist, sending the dagger of her blade at Kurt.]

[The sight of blood seems to give Kurt mild pause, and the frenzied look turns to something close to pleasure. Of course, then she has to go and ruin it by snatching a fire-laden chain whip, and the elf bares his teeth again.

The blade hits home, managing to sink in a gap in the armoring.]



[He attempts to grab the whip before she can pull it out, yanking forward as hard as he can.]

[Squall was trying to get some time alone so he could sort out his thoughts, but... there was this crazy guy running around. That's not a good thing. Probably. He watches a bit before walking over at a point when it looks slightly less likely he'll get his face cut open again.]

[This was perhaps one of the worst people to come across.]

[Thankfully Squall hasn't been briefed on things yet. ...He has no idea who this is LOL But he'll just cross his arms.]

You don't look fine. [...] ...You should go to the infirmary. Doctor- ...The doctor there will take care of you.

[There is the longest pause, but... then he nods curtly.]

I'll stay with you.

[You know, until the guy feels better or something. Normally Squall wouldn't do so, but... this guy is part of Garden, right? Someone should be around in case something happens. Worst case scenario as far as Squall thinks if this guy passes out he can carry him to the infirmary.]
