002 - Hope [Action!]

[He had no idea how long he'd been trapped in there, but thank god he was allowed out now. He had no idea what had caused him to get such an icky and debilitating disease but he was just praying and hoping he'd never have to deal with that ever again.

He reveled in the fresh air swamping around his nostrils. He moved towards his room, not that he could really call it that after not really spending much time there. He wanted to see everyone too.

He moves through the quad, he took his time, taking in the scenery again after such a long time. He smiles to himself and sits down on the bench he had the first time he'd come to the quad. He sighs and looks out over the quad.]

I should probably go and see Snow and Vanille and Serah... they were probably worried.

[He spoke aloud, not really taking much action on his words except to swing his feet lightly.]

[Hope takes that hand and stands up, brushing himself off.]

Thanks. But if I have to go back into that sick bay? I hope you understand I will have to hurt you.

[But even he can't stop a smile breaking across his lips.]

I think that might be fair trade. Seeing that you're standing, though, I think we can assume you don't have to take me down with you.

[Well that was a loaded question.]

It's been ...pretty eventful. A lot of my friends from my world showed up! One of them has apparently been here for a few years, it's pretty crazy.

[Hope shakes his head and looks at John]

[Sighs and actually gets this kind of tired look.]

No. I was just wondering how much more I could take of being bedridden and sick.

I'm sorry that happened to you. It happened to nearly everyone right?

It was probably a really good thing you didn't, specially while you were on the verge of death.

Yeah, the people from different worlds at least. There was three of us in my group and it took us to each of our worlds.

[Having to explain why an entire army of people with big guns and even bigger machinery where trying to kill you would have taken some long and cleverly thought out explanations.]

Marco's was pretty cool, but everything else ...bluh.

[Hope looked at him seriously. There was definitely a story here... but maybe it would better to leave it.]

[He doesn't have a good answer for that. He'll just give him a (hopefully) reassuring smile.]

Oh! So um, have you gotten your schedule, yet? We should see if we have any classes together.

[Hope fumbles around in his hammerspace back pocket and produces a neatly folded piece of paper.]

We only have one class it looks like. But that's still something! Intro to Para-Magic.

Dude! Are they the same kind of spells in the class? Because I can do magic too, but its not the same.
