[BBS/Action] Poetry and Cyborgs.

Blue is the light breeze
That leads me down uncharted paths.

A light is ahead,
And my soles are no longer hindered.

My heart is no longer floating without direction.
You're my destination.

Who doesn't know who this is for? ♥

Hmm...I must be getting rusty! This poem is not my best, but the heart tells no tales. Oh dear. I'll simply have to make more!

In unrelated news, this may or may not be news to anyone about how advanced Esthar is, but their cyborg forces intrigues me. It would be fruitless to ask how they even came to be, but, really, who would volunteer to be one of those things?

I'm simply speculating, of course~! Does anyone have any thoughts?

[Sits in the library, reading a book of poetry. There are some intermittent hums and note taking. A nice little pile of books she has gone through are surrounding her.]

I got a little distracted trying to track down the source of phoenix downs. [Digs through his side backpack to pull out a folder duplicate of what he gave Shin.]

If I'd known I had to be on a lookout for Pacifista... [Shrugs.] You were saying?

[Takes the folder and goes over it, very serious, which is strange for Grell. Speaks softly.]

Cyborgs. They aren't, or don't look, human. [Flips through the papers] Really, no one said ANYTHING about people not dying as of late, natural deaths excluded. It's not natural, and I'd rather not be out of a career.

Shin and I are only speculating, but we think the lack of bodies are due to those cyborgs.

[Looks up at him]

Pacifista -- the world government's new weapon where I'm from. They turned one of their pet shichibukai slowly bit by bit into a robot and made clones of him. Is this all different people getting turned here??

If only we came across all this earlier! Then my poor firebird wouldn't be in danger~! [HAIR RUFFLE] Your kitten apologizes!

[There's so much useful information!] We aren't sure of the process, so we don't know if there is a specific criteria or it truly is random. Or even if they use fresh corpses.

It's so very frustrating--Phoenix Downs are this useful? [If only Grell paid more attention in class!]

Yeah, Phoenix Downs revive people. [Rubs his chin.] Wish I could do that. It'd save me a lot of battlefield heartache.

[Brought back from his distant look and grins and at the compliment.] Kind of. It all seems odd. People die, but I can't figure out what happens then at all. Cremation or what. Maybe they just disintegrate. I do know they die, but if any shinigami come to take them, they didn't reveal themselves.

Battles are but glorious symphonies, but not all can survive to hear its dramatic finale, dearest.

[...yes, that would be odd.] Unacceptable. [Shuts the folder and huffs.] We need to figure out this murky little mystery, but without letting on about what Shin and I are.

Robotnik used to capture Mobius citizens and shove them in robotic cases against their will. The robots basically extracted all their power from the people inside, using them as a battery.

He didn't manage to pull off the same in the Special Zone, but he tried.

Is Esthar on our side? [Rhetorical and not rhetorical question.] I would believe that they must have some sort of leash on them, at the least.

From what I've read, they sound a bit different. I don't approve of either method.
