[001] [Action; Lobby]

[The acceptance letter's still in a crumbled heap in his left hand as he storms into the lobby. Damian had read it about four times and had memorized every word. And rather than quell him, it had the opposite effect. In fact, the reason he was in the lobby at all was to bash some heads in until someone gave some real answers--answers he wanted to hear.

As if he would actually attend this glorified boarding school.

The mere thought that someone thought he would simply roll over on the issue sent him into another fit of rage. He raises the crowbar he'd been clutching in his right hand and strikes the air with it. Several drops of the Joker's blood, which the tool is coated in, hits the floor. But hitting air didn't satisfy him in the slightest.]

Send me home immediately! I refuse to have any part in this foolishness!


[OOC Note: Since Damian was taken from Gotham as he was beating the crap out of the Joker with a crowbar, the Joker's blood is all over that bad boy. Though Damian is blissfully unaware, the blood on the crowbar has actually been mixed with Joker toxin, which in effect does this to its unsuspecting victim.

So basically if you choose to have your character approach Damian, know that your character has the potential to get hit with this toxin. It only effects skin contact, so if the blood hits clothing there won't be any effect (Damian's costume has splatters of it too, for that matter). You can totally have your character be unaffected by it if you so choose (either by staying a safe distance from the crazy ninja child with the crowbar or by assuming the blood will only hit their clothes, or however you want to do it), but if you want to have them be affected I thought that might lead to some interesting CR. Damian has the antidote on him in his utility belt and he will use it on anyone who winds up being affected (unless you piss him off first then it might take some guilting by a third party before he does it).]

[He recognizes that costume. Tom stares at Damian for a moment - almost like a deer in headlights - before shaking his head. Did they seriously manage to bring Robin to Garden?]

.... They would if they could, you know. This world isn't equipped well-enough to deal with off-worlders.

I don't want to hear excuses. I refuse to take part in any of your games! I have more important business to attend to!

Well, yeah, just it won't happen right aw--Whoa uh. [Yeah totally seeing that blood now that he's stepping a bit closer.]

[Egypt and Damian are coming back to the garden after a good day in Esthar. Gotta make the most of their time while they're still here, right? It was a good day until the older of the two caught sight of a familiar figure in the lobby.

Why was said familiar figure splattered with blood? Frowning out of caution and concern, Egypt tels Damian to "wait here" before leading his side and approaching Robin, pace quick, nearly running.]

Hey...! [Blood. Did the kid get hurt? Egypt hopes to God he didn't, but the scene makes him worry otherwise.]

[Shopping had been good. Running into someone in his costume? With his height and his mannerisms? Not so much. Day pauses, listening to Egypt's orders only out of shock - sure, the face's slightly different (and he wears a mask, not goggles) - but beyond that, it looks a heck of a lot like him.

Catching up with his big brother, Day bites his lip:] He's definitely going to the nurse.

[Damian snapped his full attention to the man rushing at him, mistaking his running as an attack. He swung his crowbar at the figure, secretly hoping he could crack someone's skull open tonight, but he would settle for him to stay the hell away.]

I will not repeat myself. Send. Me. Home. Now.

Settle down there kid. [Deadpan expression as Marco moves to grab the crowbar, completely familiar from this kind of outburst from dealing with Ace and other young crew members. He stops short when he sees his face though, since he knows the other alternate Damian extremely well. Freezing up in almost shock, he just turns his head, looking like a worried big brother.] Damian???

[[ooc: he hasn't touched the blood yet, but Marco's a phoenix so I'm not sure how well it'd work. He's resistant to nearly everything.]

[Pulls his hand back to avoid Marco's grasp, instead opting to swing his foot around for a kick.]

I'm Robin. [First rule on the field--never use real names. Damian's taken that to heart.]

[OOC: However you want it to affect him. It can be not at all or maybe he gets a fit of giggles or what have you.]

[Blocks casually. Sorry Robin, you're still not as much of a rage-bucket of fiery death as Marco's best friend Ace is. Well, yet.]

We've met. Marco, remember. Phoenix? [Gives a small stare.]

You feeling okay? You're covered in blood. Who were you fighting?

[Spots that costumed kid from earlier, but..he's in quite the rage. Approaches, but...carefully--

What that blood?!

Stops in his tracks, thinking this situation just got really dangerous.]

Are...you alright?

I'm fine, but you aren't going to be if you don't tell me how to get out of here immediately. [Waves the crowbar menacingly to prove his point.]

[Raises an eyebrow cooly before scowling slightly.]

[In the time it takes Bart to do a double-take, he's already disappeared, changed into his Impulse costume, and reappeared on the other side of the lobby. The next second, he's standing in front of Damian, shocked and confused.]

Robin? But you're not Robin! [Unless Tim got even shorter and scowlier (and a cooler costume), but he doubts that.]

[Snarls a bit at Impulse. One of Drake's friends. So Drake put him up to this, eh? Damian certainly wouldn't put him past him.]

I'm a better Robin than he ever was, and if he's having issues understanding that he better tell me in person so I can... explain it to him. [Points the crowbar at Bart.] What are you waiting for? You're supposed to be quick on your feet, so go back to your stupid friend and tell him.

[Clutches the crowbar tighter in his hand, but doesn't point it at the newcomer. He simply doesn't see Aang as a threat--yet.] I'm fine. Tell me how to get out of here--I have more important places to be.
