[Returning to the Garden wasn't necessarily something Lightning was looking forward to. Sure, it had its perks, but she still doesn't consider it home. Home is where her family is and from what she remembers of the Garden, her family certainly isn't here. Admittedly, a small part of her is looking forward to seeing if she remembers anyone here. It would make things easier.

And so she starts her trek to the dorms, duffel bag in hand and steps confident. It wouldn't do much good if she just wasted time in the lobby, after all. She has things to do and even more things to set up. The sooner she could do that, the sooner she could get down to business.]

Welcome back, I guess. [She mutters, completely nonplussed and entirely to herself.]

[She lets out a small huff of a laugh and... Is that almost a smile? Maybe. And yeah, she'd be happy for him too.] I'll introduce you.

Good---but you know I would've moseyed to 'em anyways. [Success! He missed Lightning smiles.] Your sister wouldn't be hard to spot in this crowd.

Guess you're right. [And now she's really smiling. Good job, Tom.] Snow's not hard to miss either.

Then I think we're good. [sheepish laugh as he rubs the back of his neck. It kinda feels nice, being with her. Tom definitely doesn't want to leave, but... he kinda suspects it's time to head on out.]

... I should probably get going. Meet me for dinner tonight? The times haven't changed a bit.

Alright. [She nods and straightens her posture, moving to hold the door to her room for him. Her smile dims around the edges a little, but doesn't disappear completely.] I'll be there.

Great! [acknowledging nod as he heads on out. He gives her the thumbs-up sign too] I'll save you a seat.
