[Rinoa sits curled around Angelo in a shady, tree filled corner of the Quad, her face buried in the dog's furry ruff as she just sits and well pouts? Mopes? Sulks? Cries? There were any number of words that could be used to describe her current behavior and most of them fit. However, if someone were to look for it they'd see the tell-tale sign of tear tracks on the cadets face as well as the dampened portions of Angelo's fur ~~but thankfully not enough to trigger much of a damp dog scent.~~

Her face still buried against the dog her voice was muffled as she voiced her complaint, thinking that only Angelo could hear her.]

Why's he such a jerk?

[Maybe she had taken some things for granted and just assumed they were true, but he didn't have to be so cold about it. It was becoming painfully clear that what meant the world to her was more or less nothing to him. The more she thought about it the more it hurt and the more upset she became. ]

[Anyone's more than welcome to stop by and bother girl and dog new and old CR alike.]

[It was still rather sloppy on his part, after having spent the better part of a year balancing Japanese schoolwork, socializing and frequent forays into Tartarus. Maybe the Social Link System had become too big a crutch.]

[True, it's not that big a problem that he can't fix, and the world - even a small portion of it like Garden - is large enough for him to establish relationships if he puts some effort to it.

[See? Then there was no reason to worry about it since it was an easy thing to fix. This here was a good start, but there's some bias to that.

You're right. [She sighs and shakes her head, no need to be all moody. If it wasn't going to happen it wasn't going to happen and there was no reason for her to stay all mopey about it.] Though no matter how much you watch over it, it's not going to help if both sides don't agree.

Well, then the first step would have to be to find some common ground, right? To start from something both sides agree, and take it from there?

[She frowns a little at that, thinking it over. It made sense.]

So find something that you're both interested in, right? Because then it's at least something you have in common? That doesn't sound so bad.

Do you really think it'd help though?

[shrugs good-naturedly]

Well, it worked for me back in my homeworld, so...

Well then it can't hurt to try. If it worked once it might work again! Because if nothing else, we can still be friends. So it's worth trying!

[She smiles up at him thankfully, not nearly half as down as she'd been before.]
