I guess that makes sense. After the big deal they made about Katara's waterbending in the newsletter, they probably wouldn't want us to go showing off abilities that aren't the sort of thing you see here.

My thoughts were that a demo of our "powers" might actually help. Really risky, but giving some of the natives - at least the native cadets - some clue as to how things work in other worlds might boost understanding and whatnot.

Beats me as to whether it'd work, but there's so many of us in Garden it's stupid asking us to blend in.

It's possible...maybe the cadets would be the best place to start, since they're the ones who might have to team up with us one day, assuming we don't get to go home before we graduate. They might not be as scared if they don't think we're hiding things from them.

And you're right. I get maybe asking us to keep things inside the Garden for now, but it's pretty obvious some of us aren't from around here.
